The village hotel is a large dark modern and imposing building that can't be missed. The atmosphere and decor inside is also dark and cozy. With very soft lighting. The hotel was easy to find. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We attended for a Motown tribute night with dinner included. The person booking had forgotten that one of us was vegetarian and the staff very kindly accommodated the last minute change. It's a very busy hotel with a gym and spa. There is plenty of parking and there was also free parking on the night.
My mum and Dad stayed recently and ask me to review on her behalf. The moment they arrived there was a helpful staff member on hand to assist with check in and to guide her to the room. The room was immaculate, extremely clean and comfortable. Before leaving for a family event they had a drink in the bar, service was prompt and very friendly the staff made them feel very welcome. Breakfast the following morning was lovely, a great selection of food. Once again served by friendly courteous staff. Overall a wonderful stay in a very well kept, clean hotel and most importantly a great nights sleep. Will definitely be returning thank you.
Went here with a good friend for the Retro Disco Decades Tribute night. Didn't stay here. Good parking available. Function bar open and room rapidly filling, everyone getting into the vibe. Even dancing before the meal which is great to see. Drinks prices reasonable too. From 8pm, Mains arrived. Chicken breast with veg, mash potato base and gravy. Plate and food were very hot, food nicely cooked, well seasoned and thoroughly enjoyed it. Plate was still hot after I'd finished!! Dessert- Chocolate torte, very nice. Tribute Act - DJ was really bouncing us along, played an awesome variety of classic hits. A surprise was a live vocalist and he was very good. Got everyone whipped up, highly interactive with audience, he was on for an hour. Overall a brilliant night, fantastic.
In all lovely hotel. Rooms were spotless and staff were lovely too..breakfast was great nothing to much trouble for staff on breakfast duty all young people but very very helpful. Only couple of niggles at the hotel, we found it hard to find a road to get into it and couple of wooden areas in the room were chipped and the one by TV looked like dogs had scratched it. Would we use Village Hotels again definitely Nearby activities: Lots of restaurants near by Waggamamas, TGI Fridays, Costa, Five Guys and local pub all across the road Noteworthy details: Metro trams run nearby
We stayed here after attending a friends wedding reception. The buffet at the wedding was delicious and all piping hot. Our room was modern and very clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet the next morning was really nice, but we did miss having hash browns.
We booked a room for our daughters 18th birthday for her to stay over so she could use the facilities, we booked 2 months ago and paid for it then. Now they are trying to tell us we didn't book even though we have proof of transaction on a online bank statement. They have said they will look into it and maybe refund us but we have to rebook in the mean time. Even though they don't have the room we wanted so obviously they double booked the room. My daughters birthday in 2 weeks cheers guys
Very convenient location. Rooms are very dusty, my son found leftover props from a grooms party under his bed and also a used bandaid in his shower. Last night there was a function on. School kids were being dropped off by adults in hired luxury cars with modified ridiculously noisy exhausts. They were noisy enough at 6pm when they were being dropped off and tearing around the car park at high speed, let alone when it continued until midnight.
Just home from a lovely stay at the Ashton Village hotel and we had a great stay start to finish. We were gifted a lovely bottle of Prosecco and card for our anniversary on arrival which was such a kind gesture. Rooms are extremely clean and tidy and the cooked breakfast was lovely. Thank you
Stayed there for 1 night to see the Eagles at the co-op live. Ideal location with the tram into arena. Free parking on the weekends, breakfast was nice, friendly staff, room was clean. Would use again.Rooms: 4/5
Good parking Tram connection to Manchester Amenities good with bar, food,Starbucks. Quick check in/out Mix up with early check in and late check out, domestics tried to get in twice before check. Not good paid for late check out. Not much info about what is around locally or in Manchester. Room was clean. Needs updating so can charge phone without a plugwe don't all own iPhones
