Poor poor chesterfield. A shadow of the market town it once was. Now town is filled with Greg's, payday loans, cash converters, charity shops and empty units. I very rarely go into town now as there's not much left. Which is sad really. But that's the councils greed for you! Ever increasing rates have pushed everyone out.

Would be ok if shops weren't closing constantly. But that's the retail business. Always clean.

It is good down here, as it has a mixture of everything really from card shops, to clothes shops, to book shops to shoe shops and everything in between. It's close to bus stands leading out to clay cross, or danesmoor, or Bolsover and other routes.

A good, local, Shopping Centre:- there is a great Market Place there 3 times a week, there are some good shops there (most things you need) and there are some bargains to be made.
