Visited this place for a trip as I live in Long Eaton. Parked for just under 90 mins and paid £2 for the pleasure. Just got a parking ticket with a fine for £100 but I’m quite positive I was in the limit. After reading the reviews they need to get their act together!! I will be appealing this and have my proof of parking but should have to put myself out. Won’t be returning!!
Really upsetting receiving a £170 parking fine after paying the correct amount. I have appealed for the second time as payment was made. Such a shame I used to spend hundreds of pounds a year at Tkmaxx and other stores now will not be returning ever again.
Plentiful parking most of the time. If there are no spaces you won't have to wait for long until one is available. First 45 minutes are free and their are parking meters around to get tickets from. You can also use the app 'Pay by phone' if you prefer. The car park location code on the app is 8616. So you can even pay for your ticket before you arrive if you choose. On the park there is Boots, Next, TK Max, Home Bargains, Poundland, Food Warehouse, Costa Coffee and Sports Direct is close by, as well as Carphone Warehouse, and Greggs Bakery.
Absolute joke of a retail park! This is the only retail park in Mansfield and Ashfield that charges you to park! And only 45 mins free!! £100 parking fine! Are you joking! No wonder people order online! Not even worth it I won’t be returning!! AT ALL! Wouldn’t even waste your time!
Parked for 1 hour and 8 minutes. £100 parking fine reduced to £60 if paid urgently. I'll never be back. Thieves!
Why am I paying for parking when the retail park across the way doesn't? 45 minutes for free but I could spend that just browsing in one shop. Avoid this place in favour of other locations of the same shops.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARKING RULES! you're picked up on anpr on the way in and on the way out! You're allowed 45mins for free, including the time it takes to find a parking space and the time it takes queue to get out! Shops are OK, ruined by the clock watching experience!
Decent place. Car park is a joke. Entry and exit is an accident waiting to happen. Choice of stores is great but let down by access.
Visited this parking, went into stores spent money and had a great time. I loved the stores there and enjoyed my time, only to be left with a ridiculous parking fine. Your signs are way too high up, it was pouring with rain and visibility was terrible, I was unaware it was even a paid parking. I appealed the parking charge with CP Plus, I explained I was unaware of the parking charge and offered to pay it as well as explaining the signage is not visible, I even showed them reviews on the parking where numerous people have said the exact same thing so they are aware of the situation. I asked if there's an independent body I could appeal with and they said no there isn't which I've since found out is a lie and they do answer to an independent body. They're now threatening me with debt collectors without even bothering going into the courts process? If this is how you treat your paying customers I will NEVER set foot on your properties again and I'll be going to the papers if this goes any further, contact your pitbulls and have them wind their neck in, it's daylight robbery and I'll make sure everyone willing to lend an ear will hear about it. Even if I do this it won't be the first time someone's put your parking in the papers for the same bloody reason
Brought an hour ticket expecting to get the hour plus 45mins free as stated and have received a parking fine as there is ‘no record’ of my payment, sadly I paid cash and did not keep the ticket which only states the time it was printed and not how long you have put on so not reliable proof anyway. Will not be parking here again.
