I have only been registered for around 3 months with my little whippet boy at this practice and in such a short space of time he's had and is going through a lot. Where do I begin with the care, understanding, support , kindness and genuine that is from the telephone conversations, girls on reception, nurses and vets. I must say that they are just so considerate, kind and empathetic for us as people and our beautiful boy. Your professionalism in dealing with my emotions as well is without doubt true compassion on all levels. THANK YOU all for being such a beautiful, kind and caring team of people .
We brought two of our cats to Vets4Pets in Southend for their annual health check and vaccinations. It can be a stressful experience because the cats hate going into their baskets etc - thankfully, the staff at Vets4Pets always succeed in taking the aggravation out of the situation and making the visit quick and easy. I enjoyed chatting to the vet about our two cats and she was very gentle with them. We've been customers of yours for a long time and are very happy to remain so.
I have used Vets4Pets for years and am always satisfied. They respect the needs of my latest, and previous, cats. The only worry I have is the cost.
A fantastic place to take your pets for care. The staff are so friendly and the vets are reassuringly knowledgeable. Bertie my golden retriever loves going there. Highly recommended
2 bad experiences here 1. 2 Xmas ago our Labrador Twix hurt her leg on a run. Went to VFP. They starting talking ACL, and was 5K to fix. All this a week before Christmas. With a lot of tlc and a leg brace, we managed to get her walking again and now running freely. 2. Took Marmite here about a month ago as she kept peeing on the floor, very unlike her. After a £208 blood test, it was confirmed she might be diabetic. Could I get a pee sample to confirm ?Unfortunately she’s nervous so sorry I can’t. We can do that for you £138. Speaking to the vet all I got was telephone numbers for any procedure to assist our Marmite. Was it £100 pm, £200 pm, £300 pm ? Need more tests to confirm , but no ball park figure. This scared me as no idea on cost. Well, tonight Marmite has passed away. It seems VFP are more interested in what they can get out of you rather than caring for your pet. I’m in the process of moving our other dog to another vet.
The receptionists are always so kind and patient. I feel my pets are in very safe hands with the nursing staff too.

Took our two 6 month old kittens here. It’s our first time as pet owners and we were a bit nervous about choosing a vet, but this place has been brilliant! I’ve had a million questions and the reception staff have been incredibly helpful and patient answering them. They’re all so friendly. The vet, Gavin, was also incredibly friendly and happy to answer our questions. He was so gentle with our frightened kittens and was so reassuring. He was also honest with costs too and was happy to compare v4p medication prices to getting a prescription and buying online - they were the same which was great unlike a local 24/7 vet we visited previously who massively overcharged and were very shady about costs!. We felt so comfortable with this vet that we signed up for the annual complete care plan for both our kittens. You get £30 off when you get the pets at home app, and it includes the first consultation, nail clipping and flea and worm treatment, so seems like great value! Normally we’d be giving this 4 stars as it doesn’t have its own free car park though we were able to find free parking easily quite nearby and there’s no separate waiting area for cats our kittens were terrified when a barking dog came in. But we’re giving it 5 stars based on great value and the staff just honestly being so friendly and helpful.

Kind supportive staff, excellent vets that make problems understandable with clear options. Wonderful receptionists too who show love to every pet coming in.
