Was told that my dog would be sedated, and have a procedure, and be returned to me within 40 minutes. 90 mins later I was told that the procedure had not even started. I had spent 50 mins close to tears thinking that something had gone wrong, and there was no staff member available to ask. Paid almost £450, and was handed a completed form to give to my insurers. Insurers discovered the back had not been completed, so they asked vet to do so. Vets promised to complete form and return overnight. They have not done so. Almost four weeks after the event they still have not completed the form , so I can't be reimbursed by my insurer. Why would they bother? They all ready have my cash!

PDSA and out of hours emergency vet consultancies but you'll pay through the nose.
