On a very busy Friday when everyone was having Christmas do, this place gave us a table in the afternoon. The food was good, the drinks were nice, and the atmosphere is vibrant. Never noticed this place before. It is kinda between a pub and a restaurant.
Amazing selection of gins and the staff were really knowledgeable about them. We held a meeting in the little back room and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and lovely food too.
Went a few times pre-covid. At time of posting, not re-opened yet. Very lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating, with impressive beer.
Gastro pub with pleasant relaxed atmosphere that doesn't get too busy and doesn't play music too loud. Tried some food here which was delicious and fresh. Family friendly and reasonable prices.
I've passed Veritas loads of times but never been in. I went in on Saturday night after a show at The Carriageworks theatre & had a very pleasant evening. Nice beer, plenty of seats & good music played at the right sort of volume i.e. not too loud..... apparently the food's not bad either. Nice pub
Lovely place. Very nice people who run it. Was in meeting a friend from Australia that I hadn't seen for 3 years. Had my granddaughter with me and as it was quiet she was allowed to play on the floor and we could talk. Will be back as they were so amenable.
