Went in there for lunch. Thought I'd look up the plants that l need for my new rockery whilst waiting for it to be served. Sadly, I waited 35 minutes and no sign of my sustenance. None of the servers checked, no one chased. Every one around me was happily eating theres.... Well, I'd finished my pink lemonade so, after looking around ever hopeful,  I went. No lunch and sadly, no plants, either. Went to Hadfields instead and got both lunch and required String of Pearls, etc., so it wasn't a dead loss.

Just had one of the best breakfast for a long time at Vera's coffee ☕ shop it was the full English breakfast called the "fill your wellies"  on the menu. My wife had the equivalent vegetarian option breakfast and throughly enjoyed her's. 
All the ingredients are locally produced and freshly Cooked/prepared for your meal.This about the forth time we have been to Vera's this year and the attached photos are of the flower wall outside the cafe, these were taken in the summer

Vera's coffee shop is well known for it's cakes, but I must add that they also do the best scones in the area 😋 (and I have tried a lot of scones in the area!) all made fresh every day (definitely no 'yesterday's scones' here). A staff member came out of the shop when she saw us turn up on our bikes and said that we were able to take our bikes through which was good. Staff all smiling, welcoming and smartly dressed. Regular haunt so will be back. 😊

Due to serving mother's day lunches restaurant wasn't taking anyone for breakfast 1.5 hours before.
