Trams are often late on the Ashton line. Lots of antisocial behaviour, kids from the local area wearing balaclavas being violet towards passengers and often causing property damage. There is a need for police and Metrolink staff especially in-between Piccadilly and the Velopark tram stop.

Don't know if it was a special occasion when I visited or if it's a regular thing, but the station was closed for an hour just after a match at the Etihad Stadium. The trams were still running but they went straight through the station. A large number of people had walked here from the arena and everyone had to find new ways to get home.
