The food great. But being in the centre of Manchester and despite having controlled access to the toilet which is understandable I was seriously disappointed by the standards of the toilets. I can pretty much compare the level of cleanliness to a moderately maintained public toilet. To be honest if I'm going to have something to eat and I'd rather not have the scent of the toilet lingering in my nostrils as I chow down on a subway sandwich. So based upon my experience I can honestly give three stars for the food. But loses two stars based upon the cleanliness of the toilets.

My last 3 visits to date. 3 visits ago I was given dry crusty bread that was given to me off the side, I asked if it was fresh and they said yes but nope it was rock hard! 2 visits ago I purchased cookies and to my surprise on the way home I found out they were rock hard and couldn’t even bite into it! My last visit today (12/01/18) I didn’t eat there because as I entered the building I was hit with an off putting stale smell and due to receiving bad quality food my last 2 visits I wanted to make sure my food would be ok this time, I asked a lady with purple/violet hair who was serving what the smell was and felt as though she jumped at me verbally insistent that I smelt it outside and she is there everyday there is never anything wrong... but I’ve never seen her before and she wasn’t there my 2 previous visits either so that was a blatant lie. Her customer service was disgusting, the smell was disgusting and there is usually issues with the food being rock hard anyway so I just walked out I’m not going to put my money on someone’s wages like that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Subway is ok. Not a great selection of veggie options. The sandwiches are nothing special but taste ok. You can always tell your near a subway from the smell outside the shop. Ok in an emergency
