Story

Velocity 44 Limited; formerly Stewart Wilson Cycles; is one of Scotlands longest running cycle shops trading for over 41 years in Stirling. Currently now owned and run by Paul and his team of 6 we are confident that we fully converse with all areas of the bike trade.Originally located in Baker Street, the shop has occupied its current premises at 44 Barnton Street for the past 12 years. With over 300 bikes in stock at any time over 2 floors we are sure that we will have a bike to keep everyone happy.

The shop offers a complete range of bicycles and cycling equipment.We have a show room and shop upstairs, and a workshop downstairs offering customers an extensive servicing and repair service. The shop is currently expanding the range of bikes on show by opening a new show room downstairs, providing even more room to showcase the extensive range of bikes in stock.

Fantastic bike shop with a great range of products. Have managed to get my bike turned around same day a couple of times, and even during peak times of the year turnaround is quick.

Expert, friendly and reliable - Velocity 44 is everything an independent bike shop should be. Staff go the extra mile to make sure your bike is perfect when it goes out the door. I've bought five bikes from them and been delighted with the level of service I received. It's hardly my local shop, I live 120 miles away, but with prices that are competitive with many online retailers, it's worth making the occasional trip down or simply calling and placing an order - next day delivery assured assuming the goods are in stock. This is one of the best bike shops in the country and I'm happy to be a customer of a store where staff live and breathe cycling.

I had a great experience with this shop. I bought two Frog cycles for my children, they turned the order around really quick, and threw in some accessories too. Thank you.

Best bike shop I've ever been to, and I've been to a fair few. The passionate staff were exceedingly skilled, and were the only bike shop to notice and fix some setup problems with by bike. They also gave us some fantastic route advice for an upcoming cycle tour around the North West of Scotland, which turned out to be the best holiday of our lives, thanks in great part to Velocity44's friendly and knowledgable staff. Highly recommend them, and worth the trip from anywhere in Scotland.
