This is one of the better Parkdean resort locations we have been to! Its had a lot of work done with plenty of activities available for the kids - playground, softplay, bouncy castle, climbing wall, high ropes, jeep safari to name a few.nnWe had a swim on one of our days, and the swimming pool is much more modern and clean than some we have been to. It had functioning lockers, and more than 3 changing rooms! The pool itself is split into three and there is a small and larger slide at each end.nnWe also spent some time in the sports bar where you can have a go at mini golf, interactive darts, shuffle board or just watch sports on the big tv's! We didn't really catch many shows in the big bar area, but we did note it was one of the larger show areas at a parkdean that we have been to.nnIn terms of food there is an onsite restaurant and some take away type options which included pizza, fish and chips, chicken and american grill. As you can imagine all of them are a lityle pricey for what they are, but it is all onsite so you dont have to go far!!nnIt was a nice weekend, and kids have told us they want to visit again which probably speaks volumes!
We stayed Mon-Fri last week for the first time and it’s a great site. It’s all very clean, fresh and welcoming and looked like staff were really ensuring it stays that way with seeing the cleaning and maintenance going on.nSome staff that really made our stay were Nicole, both Jess’s and Chloe, they were really engaging with the kids regardless of how many there were. Nicole really encouraged my little one to join in and got her involved, and then remembered her the following day which I think made her feel special. Zac & Ollie were also great guys on the water walkers and were helpful to my daughter.nnOverall, the site is great value speaking from term-time booking and this helped more so with the cost of activities. I think compared to other holiday parks you pay for slightly more of the activities than others, but they were generally good value. Highlights, the off road rangers but could do with a bit more suspension on such a bumpy track for 30 mins!, paw patrol missions, bounce park, and the evening entertainment for the kids.nThe water walkers was a great experience for my daughter and the session itself was great with Zac & Ollie, but then only thing I would say is there are a few inconsistencies on website info. It says 30 mins on the website and although that would be a long time in the walkers, it’s a big difference to the 10 mins you get, so centrally it would be good to look at this. Additionally, some of the ages varied too on the website compared to actual info.nnWe had a silver caravan which was just what we needed, enough space, clean and fresh enough. There were just little bits that needed sorting which we did inform reception at check out. I found the price of the caravan great value, although not sure I would maybe say the same if we were paying the school holiday prices in August I know price increases are across the industry, but it wouldn’t seem as good value then.nnAll the food outlets looked lovely, and we found overall the prices again were great. We had fish and chips on the first night and seeings as it’s not a fish & chip shop along the seafront, we thought it was great quality and the fish was freshly battered and cooked. It wasn’t anymore than going to other fish & chip shops. The pizzas also looked great and reasonably priced, and the sandwiches we had for lunch at the Boathouse were lovely. The half price kids food was really handy during the week! The only food outlet we found a little disappoint was Scoops. It was quite expensive for what you get. Sometimes you can justify paying if you get a good portion, but the scoop was pretty small for £4 and that was without any toppings etc extra, so we’d rather get an ice cream in the shop.nnThe bar in the main arena was very well staffed every night so didn’t need to wait, even when England were playing. The tables and seating areas here and in the courtyard area were also kept clean with staff regularly around.nnOverall we had a brilliant stay as did our 4 year old with so much to do. We will definitely we returning
First time here at Vauxhall and we're loving it large. The norfolk broads are lovely, there's lots of options for boat tours. The pool on site was had a lively atmosphere, and we're thrilled to meet the star of the show in the v lounge Nicole. Best security at this site, made us feel very safe here especially Danny. Will be returning
Absolutely brilliant. Very friendly staff. We came here last year and really enjoyed it and we’re loving all the new improvements this year. We love playing the bingo and we won!!! A big shoutout to the entertainment team for being so friendly and welcoming - especially Nicole, Jess H and Iain. Very hard workers. Lovely.
We had a great stay at Vauxhall over the May bank holiday weekend.nnWe were very lucky with the weather but it was all the things Parkdean were responsible for that were most impressive.nnClean, well organised and response staff and a great range of activities available for people of all ages.
