Been coming here for 40 years, still love it. Snails are still a highlight. It's so small and tightly packed that it's a bit claustrophobic though. Very hard with a wheelchair to get around without bashing into everyone else.nnThat being said, still amazing for the kids.
Had a really good day here, food prices were very reasonable and the rides, whilst smaller than big theme parks, were really fun. The park itself is well maintained and the staff are super friendly, especially the first aider lady.
A good fun from all ages never gets old. We enjoyed it as a family. My little one loved it.
Whenever we visit Great Yarmouth, we always try to go to Joyland!nnThis year we had with us our 9yr old & 5yr old and they could do all of the little rides the place had to offer. We recommend buying the 25token pack currently at £30 which allows both kids to go on all the rides at least once, with a few more left over.nnEven my wife & I managed to go on a ride or two : Definitely recommend it!nnIt can feel a little dated in some places but overall is a good place to spend an hour or two with the kids.
I've visited this place since the 1960's. As a child and now as a grandfather, although to look at me you would think I'm far too young, but I'm not! Anyway I digress. The rides are exactly the same as they were back in the 60's and I don't expect they were new then. It's a small park with not that many rides but there ideal for small children, father's and grandfather's, well that's my experience. £20 gets you twelve rides. Some my grandson was happy to go on on his own and others it was better I went on with him. the things you have to do. It's quite central and near the pier. Only having a few rides is quite handy. The lad, who will be 4 later this month would have gone on for ever. But twenty quid didn't last long as it was. I recommend.nOh! All the staff seemed very friendly and helpful, that impressed me.
