Great little place for breakfast, staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was very good. I would definitely recommend the autumn special! They make great eggs!
Popped in here for lunch as we didn't fancy a full on roast dinner that was on offer in the local pubs. It was the first cafe open that we found on a Sunday. It was very nice, the eggs looked amazing, my daughter had those. The coffee was really good and the service from all the staff was friendly and attentive. Dog friendly too.
Had brunch here! We got poached eggs on toast and it was absolutely delicious. Coffee was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was very clean : Great atmosphere, will definitely be returning - and taking another look at all their cookbooks for sale!
I just always go back for the toasties. Small but delicious menu of food, carefully prepared with fresh and local ingredients, even a little grocery market in front for when you need some special ingredients. I’ve yet to try their outdoor dining, but normally grab a takeaway toastie and eat it in the park. Service can be a little slow, especially if you’re just getting takeaway instead of stopping, but I don’t mind going for a quick walk and it’s usually ready by the time I’m back.
One of my fav brunch spots is open again! Delicious, fresh and organic food. They make a mean coffee too. The service staff are so friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit!
had a great start in the day here, with a really good french thing canelés and the waiters were very nice and friendly Food: 5/5
They do really excellent coffee here, one of the best places for coffee in the area for sure! The space is cute and has lots of seating, and they carry a lovely selection of kitchen and food related products, including lots of inspiring cookbooks.
I stayed across the street and went for breakfast 3 days in a row. The barrista remembered my order from the first day and was both kind and attentive. The would recommend the v60 and banana bread!
I think I missed it twice until I decided to try the 3rd time. Finally, I found this coffee shop among the rainbow houses and shops on Kennington Road, which has a very low-key sign board. But everything is worthwhile, because it is such a cheerful hidden gem. Ready to explore this lovely space with yellow coffee machine and yellow walls. There are many communal tables, chairs and stools on the ground floor, which could accommodate 25-30 seats. And they labeled Laptop free zone so that the seats can be made most of. And on the basement, it is another small world, with fire place, couches, communal tables and chairs, and a shared library, it feels just like at home. Charging Point: Yes. I like the bright color they use inside, and the yellow coffee machine really attracts people's eyeball and matches very well with the yellow wall, which makes you think about the happy moment of sunny days. Although it is located on the main street, it is very quiet and a good place to get your work done. Surrounded by cookbooks, stationary, homeware, and gifts, if you just sit back and read a cookbook with a cup of coffee or their loose leaf tea, it also makes you a lovely day.
