"RUDIE’S JERK SHACK BRINGS A TRULY AUTHENTIC TASTE OF MODERN JAMAICA TO LONDON.With sites across the capital, we have brought to London our famous ‘Real Jerk’, with meats marinated for 24 hours in our secret blend of herbs and spices, before being grilled and smoked slowly over charcoal in a steel drum. Traditional Jamaican street food dishes are given the contemporary Rudie’s Jerk Shack treatment alongside well stocked rum bars featuring our iron strong Rum Punch."

Ordered goat curry and rice and peas for delivery. It was the worst I've ever had. The sauce was like Water and when i tipped it out onto my plate you could see curry powder all in the bottom of container it tasted like they put boiling water on curry powder. I couldn't even eat it as it was that bad. If I lived near the restaurant i would have taken it straight back.
Hi Rudy Me again Thought I’d give you a second chance given it’s the Chinese year of the rat, so I decided to visit your shack in elephant and castle. I’m no longer pan-Caribbean given my auntie-in law filed for divorce from my uncle-in law. But nonetheless, as an ex-Caribbean-Jewish-American, I was utterly offended by the complete lack of seasoning on your grilled birds. Given the festive period has only just ended, a splatter of tinsel would have made this chicken more seasonal, yet somehow, Rudy has single handedly managed to take an easy-to-follow, traditional recipe, and completely extract all the flavour out of it in an act more logic-defying than the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. I’m not quite sure which is more criminal - Rudy’s idea of jerk seasoning or Raoul Moat’s idea of a nice walk through the countryside. Imagine, the chicken was so bad that I was actually looking forward to the rice. I appreciate the effort Rudie, but must say - it’s time to close. All the best, Your pan-Jamacain cousin
Chicken was super dry and no fresh. Looked like it had been cooked hours earlier and left to dry out before being served. Very disappointed.
Avoid avoid avoid at all cost! Driest tasteless rice and beans and cabbage in slaw fermented so it smelled awful. Dreadful place never again!
Decent food, but unfortunately won’t be coming back due to an unpleasant interaction with one of their staff.
Uniquely bad food spoiled rice and bumbling service botched a simple order.
I was there on an early Tuesday afternoon and it was very empty. Got the Jerk-it-up box with rice and plantains. I needed to wait a few minutes. All seemed fresh. The chicken was juicy on its own and came with a tasty sauce. Rice and plantains were good, too. A bit pricey, £17 with a soda drink, but good food and friendly servicesRecommended dishesJerk Box
