Taxi drivers friendly, on time and nice cars and good price. However in future I’ll probably book over phone only speaking to someone. the online booking system isn’t great, I made a mistake in booking the return trip in that I didn’t swap drop off and pick up round, i couldn’t edit the slot so submitted another corrected one and phoned up to ensure they had correct details, annoyingly the one they deleted was the corrected one so my taxi was on time at my drop off not pick up for return journey. Phoned up and they said they would send one asap noting there were none in the area available. As someone offered a lift and I was in middle of nowhere I cancelled the booking using their phone system so press 2 and 2 again to cancel however from text messages seen next day taxi looks like it still turned up 45 minutes after cancelling much to their frustration I assume. For online phone bookings would recommend a text receipt of a to b and time is sent out immediately with a “reply CANCEL to cancel” so customer can confirm and correct trip if necessary. The other one if phone system receives a cancellation come through their system it should automatically text any assigned driver noting the cancellation so not to waste the drivers time. Would have been fine and no problem if I booked over phone in first instance I suspect. Online system just needs tweaking to prevent these sort of issues, even just adding a tick box for return journey, which would work for everyone’s benefit.
Taxi Service - I was a little apprehensive about the service given that a lot of the reviews stated that vehicles didn’t show up. The taxi was early by 6 minutes - The taxi driver didn’t hassle us to meet him early which was appreciated. Wished us a happy New Year which is always nice. 5* Service.
Lovely driver and clean car. But no card payment facilities and the automated booking system doesn't tell you that or give you anyway to check. Apparently they just don't do card anymore due to fees? You can register and pay online via a text but its not the most convenient if you're in a rush.
My partner had these pre-booked for an airport return journey around 4 months ago and they never turned up. Against better judgement, we attempted to use them again today to taxi 13 of us to a pre-booked Christmas meal that had a strict time slot. We booked the taxis a week in advance and still, an hour after they were supposed to turn up we had no contact from them. 2 hours after our booked time we received a text saying they’d cancelled. Stay well away. Useless company.Service: Limousines
Terrible experience with booking via their app. Booked with an hour to go when it said a 15 minute wait, app just kept saying looking for driver. When it got to the booked time no car and I rang them. Told it was a 20 minute wait and the driver hadn't even been allocated yet. Clearly their booking system does a poor job of allocating bookings in a timely manner, got an Uber instead which turned up in 5 minutes.
This is the worst taxi service I have ever used. They were not helpful at all when an issue presented. I was on the phone to them from 10:00 - 13:45. Got passed around to so many different people. None of them had any idea what I was talking about so I had to explain my issue over and over again. All I was trying to do is make a payment so that the taxi driver who did his job could get paid. This has been the most frustrated I have ever been trying to book/pay for a taxi. I would not recommend this service at all.
Taxi arrived promptly and, now I am used to it, the Veezu audio booking system works great, including advanced notice of pick up arrival. However, I was surprised to be asked to pay in cash and could not see a meter running for the journey. Also, there was far too much distraction for the driver who was monitoring and interacting with two smartphones, taking calls and giving me a running commentary on each vehicle manoeuvre, the traffic, road closures and the cost-of-living crisis. Overall: acceptable but could do better. .......you did ask!
The car arrived punctually as always. The driver then went onto speak of being scammed by companies and halted on route to discuss the price with head office. During the ride he spoke of it being a fixed price yet reverted to the meter and insisted on cash payment. I then inquired as to the inconsistency here and he stated I was being filmed and spoke about getting up early in the morning as if this somehow had a bearing on the situation of the cost and approach. Fortunately I had the cash and paid. However I found his manner overly assertive bordering on aggressive and not to the standard I have had previously. I do not wish to use driver 2985 in future and recommend he undergo some sort of mentoring or training in customer relations.
I called them and the automated service was good until the car didn’t come within 7 minutes like they said. I then got through to an operator who told me they have no cars in the area I was in and it would be more than 30 minutes. It was disappointing and the pub I was at said it happens regularly so they don’t recommend this company anymore.
This is by far the worst taxi company I have ever used. They never send confirmation emails, pre-journey texts or receipts. When you are booking journeys for multiple teams within a business this is obviously very important. Customer service is very poor. On Friday the 18th of November I called up to check that my booking was confirmed for a pickup from heathrow as we had a team coming back from America and had not received any confirmation. After a very painful call they said we had no booking confirmed. I then booked through a different company. To then be charged £200 for the journey which was supposedly "not booked" and have to pay for a whole other taxi is not good enough. Tried to get through to someone but just got told have to raise a complaint through email. Let's see if I ever hear back or get our money back... Fair to say we will be taking our business away from this company!
