Moved into a brand new property 8 months ago. Fixtures broken when moving in. No intercom for our flat meaning we miss deliveries and the postman constantly. Over a dozen emails sent and not one reply adressing the issues raised. Emails were sent daily and all have been ignored. They did find time however to email and demand more money in the form of service charge. Appalling service. Absolutely abhorrent. Wish we never completed on a building managed by them. Urang do not care to uphold their end of their contractual liabilities. I'd steer well clear if you can. If you can't, expect to be ignored and treated like you are irrelevant- unless they want more money from you!!!!
I'm a new party to a building managed by Urang but it appears they are a law to themselves. A red flag early on when a friend visiting saw the Urang logo by the stairs and said, "this is the worst company I've ever dealt with", an assertion based on her experience from a building she owns in Holland Park. We have appointed a new manager, and Urang is not even moving at a snail's speed in their efforts to assist the new and very proactive company from taking over our affairs. This experience should come as a warning - Urang appears hard to get rid of, and we're 2+ months into the changeover with no momentum. A complete disappointment in every interaction. There's more on the matter, but "avoid" is the best guidance I can provide.
We have had four different property managers in the last two years. Poor communication is the least of the problems. 0 attendance to site issues. They billed for snags that told were being covered by the developer through the service charge. They don't care about fixing anything, just charging more for cleaning and their incompetence. My service charge was meant to be 1.4k per year I have paid almost 5k in last 2 years and they are asking for another 1k.
When this company was founded, its manager, as far as I know, was harmed by the behavior of the property landlord and decided to establish this company, but he is now running the company that takes advantage of leases holders. its service has become extremely bad and there is no legal cover for their services charges . they put pressure and use Boiling room in addition to Intimidation to force their policy. , for example, demand’s changing doors, fabricate reports about fire risk health and safety and insurance, commission, issue charging to a level that was never previously known, and listing costs for service did not happen or exist , cleaning and assessments quotations three time the average market cost. Stay away from them and look elsewhere. The first year, their service will be good, after that it will be disappointing.
The worst building manager ever, avoid them at all cost. I rented a flat in Eluna Apartments E1W 2RG. A number of issues so far in the last 6 months: 1 pipe leak from the flat above, after 6 months, the issue has not been fixed. 2 The lifts are not working multiple times. I couldn’t call them, managed to grab an email from other flats. I reported the issue so many times but they couldn’t ask the engineers to fix it properly. 3 The intercom was not working which makes delivery extremely hard, after 2 months, they still said they’re looking for a quote to replace it. Such a nightmare and shame on you!
I contacted Urang emergency contact number during the weekend due to water leakage coming through my ceiling.. They responded immediately. I was very impressed by how they dealt with the problem and also by their follow up. Very happy with their service.
MJ has been managing our block for many years and we are very satisfied with how promptly she deals with all tasks. Thank you for your continued hard work.
Honestly the worst customer service based company I’ve ever dealt with! Never contactable, they routinely have full answerphone boxes so you can’t even leave a message. They don’t do anything they say, yet charges increase drastically. I can’t see any service they’ve provided that justifies any of the money we pay. For example, they’ve had the buildings windows cleaned once in 2.5 years. Avoid like the plague, companies like this quite honestly deserve to go out of business. If I could rate them a 0 I would have done.
AVOID THEM!I have never come across a more dishonest and negligent company, that continues to ignore any correspondence and any issue raised. I have raised 4 issues, one of which has now been outstanding for over 200 days [email not even acknowledge!] now raised through their formal complaint procedure, and Urang continue to fail to provide the service they are abundantly paid for. JUST AVOID THEM! They only seems to be decent at the beginning when they try to bag the job, after which time they are just negligent and lazy money grabbers.
