Upton in Bloom are so proud of the partnership we have created over the last few years with the staff and residents of Upton Manor.nnWe hold committee meetings there, used the cinema room when the South and South East in Bloom judges came to listen to our presentation, and they provided a beautiful lunch for committee members and judges, in the garden, appropriately!nnThey are such an important financial sponsor as well and we are very grateful for that support as well.nnWe love supporting them at their seasonal fayres, chatting with the residents and enjoying the beautiful surroundings.nnA particular highlight was daffodil planting in the grounds with the residents, something we hope to do again this autumn.nnWe are so proud to work with you and create a 'blooming' community within the home and in the town.nnSue Waters - Upton in Bloom
I'm an entertainer at lots of care homes including Upton Manor. It's a beautiful home, with lovely gardens and rooms. The staff are great - really friendly, helpful and fun. They have a busy schedule of engaging activities for their residents too. It's always a pleasure visiting Upton Manor!
I visit Upton Manor Care Home every 2 weeks to provide massage therapy for the residents there.nIt is always lovely to visit everyone, all staff are always so welcoming and helpful. It's a really well looked after care home, with beautiful surroundings.nI often see lots of activities and experiences being provided which many residents take part in.nThe Wellbeing Salon where I set up is a lovely place to work, and the people I see are always happy to come in for their treatments.nI would recommend to anyone looking for a care home setting for their loved ones.
I am a regular visitor at the home to entertain the residents for an hour a month. I am always met with smiles from the receptionist, carers and residents. The residents are responsive to the entertainment and have always seemed settled and comfortable during our sessions. Members of staff join in the sessions with encouragement and always seem aware and responsive to the residents needs and requests.
Beautiful gardens.lovely relaxing atmosphere.Staff are wonderful and so helpful.
