A good place to go if you don't have a dentist or between dentist's and need emergency treatment due to pain. They deal with the pain and do temporary treatment and sometimes follow up appointments. They are student dentist's who are overseen by trained dentist's so you are in safe hands.

It was very thoughtful that the triage dentist let me see a student dentist but I thought the prescription the student provided me would have solved my infection caused by an impacted wisdom tooth. Not only did the student not prescribe the right medication and dose, but they even diagnosed the problem wrong. Ended up paying for real care from a private dentist. NHS dentistry is a shambles right now.

I came to the emergency clinic with a swollen and painful mouth. My waiting time was approx 30 mins to initially be seen. I was seen and quickly diagnosed as having an abscess in my gum, I then received an x ray, and waited to have the tooth removed. The whole process was done with so much care and very supportive to how I was feeling. The numbing of the area was painful due to the infection, once numb and the tooth removed the infection was cleaned out. An amazing hospital with amazing staff from start to finish. I would have given 10* if available.

Visited emergency department few weeks ago and was seen even though I came after 10am and they filled their quota for the day. Staff were great. Emergency is ran by students who are overseen by dentist and they were brilliant. I was a bit worried before going but it was an emergency, I was desperate and I don't have a dentist. Really happy with everything and I was out in just over 2 hours. Would highly recommend.

Phone system is a bit of night mare but otherwise great. They always call me in on time and I've previously had to wait over an hour at my old hospital. Dental staff are lovely and the appointments are always very quick. Orthodontics reception staff are a bit moody though
