Amazing people working at this hospital! Truly exceptional people. Cant say enough good things about them. They are so caring, understanding, insightful, non-judgemental etc - they all went the extra mile and more for me. I'm so grateful for the care they gave me and understanding they showed me. A & E wasn't easy as a long wait but once seen by the doctors and up in the ward it was amazing to see how they work and how kind they all are. Everyone, from the porters, health workers, nurses, doctors, the people who help with discharging and pharmacy people...just amazing. Thank you so so much UCHL for your amazing care!
I cannot thank the team at UCL Hospital enough for the outstanding care I received. After suffering with severe electric shock-like pain every day for 4–5 weeks, I was constantly going to A&E and my GP because the pain was unbearable. I visited other hospitals, but it was at UCL that everything finally changed.nnA special thank you to Dr Rajesh Bhateja, who listened carefully, understood exactly what I was experiencing, and quickly recognised that I had trigeminal neuralgia. He explained my condition, started me on the correct medication, and the difference has been life-changing.nnI am now pain-free, and I am incredibly grateful to Dr Bhateja and the entire UCL team for their professionalism, compassion, and expertise. They treated me with respect, took my pain seriously, and gave me the right diagnosis when I needed it most.nnThank you to everyone at UCL Hospital. I will always be grateful for the excellent care you provided.
I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the Emergency Department staff for their professionalism, dedication, and the exceptional care they provide. They were attentive, compassionate, and handled everything with great responsibility.nnI would especially like to thank Hana Jama and the Emergency Department urologist, Dr. Oon Chong Chew, for their outstanding support and kindness. They took the time to explain everything clearly, made me feel reassured throughout the process, and went above and beyond to provide excellent care.nnI would also like to give a very special thank you to Siobhan Price from the Urology Department. On the day of my operation, she showed extraordinary kindness and compassion. She even sacrificed her lunch break to escort me and make sure I arrived safely at the hospital for my urology surgery. Her genuine care, warmth, and dedication made a stressful day so much easier, and I will never forget her kindness.nnAbviously there was some problems like in emergancy case i have to wait almost 12 hours for a bed and etc... but it is good point for hospital to know that you have kind of team who they can cover these unpleasant things with their carings and efforts.
Despite this facility having a relatively high rating, my experience was very disappointing. I signed up for antenatal care here, and I felt that my rights were violated at every step.nnMy personal data was shared without my consent, I was provided with incorrect information by a midwife, I experienced repeated pressure and harassment to change decisions about my care I had already legally made.nnAs a result I have decided to move my care elsewhere. I cannot imagine going through birth and being in such a vulnerable situation in this hospital.nnBased on my experience, I cannot recommend this facility. If you do choose to use their services, I strongly advise keeping all communication, decisions, and agreements confirmed in writing.
I recently received treatment at this hospital and I am extremely happy with the care I received. The doctors and nurses were professional, kind and attentive, and the ward was clean and well organised, so I felt safe and supported throughout my stay. I spent 16 hours there and saw how hard the staff work: 12‑hour shifts with only two short breaks, constantly on their feet caring for patients under huge pressure, yet still staying calm, professional and kind. They are real heroes and truly deserve higher pay for what they do. Some people complain about waiting, but after seeing what happens behind the scenes, I think it is normal in a busy hospital and the quality of care is absolutely worth it. I would definitely give this hospital a 5‑star rating and highly recommend it to anyone who needs treatment.
