I've known this hospital for about 25 years and I can safely say it has vastly improved from what it used to be. Following a not so pleasant earlier experience I avoided it for a very long time, however, recently my GP referred me for some tests and I was pleasantly surprised that things have improved so much from my earlier experience. Given the size of the hospital and the range of services they offer, I guess things aren't perfect but in my recent experience I could say they offer the community value for money.

We was at the Starlight children floor and after we wait for this appointment 2 months, was a really unhappy experience because: 1. The doctor was late like 45 min 2. After he arrived he was received us inside with my child to consultation and he was really rushing and he give us the filling that in that moment was not in the right mood for his work. We had to discuss about a surgery trout for my 4 year child but he do not give as the positive or negative reasons for a good decision regarding this important matter. He just ask if we want to be on the waiting list and he done his job in his opinion. Will be the first and the last time to visit this hospital because now I do not know about this surgery and my child situation almost nothing from this doctor. He do not consult! Very disappointing!

Very well organized, went to A&E to have my foot looked at, after a motorbike accident. In less than three hours got visited and got an x-ray done, all for free. Excellent service.

Also a Huge thank you to Dr Barnick for his useful advices, he always had time to talk about my issue in depth. Thank you for the excellent job and extraordinary support.

No compassion what so ever. They knew my brothers prognosis was not good, they knew he was terminal yet they did not allow us to stay over night with him at all. My brother stayed at Royal London, Newham, Whipps Cross who were all so helpful in keeping him comfortable and his family around him. These guys did not care at all. I took my kids just 10 minutes before visiting time to see him and they did not let us in, it would have been the last time they saw him. My parents wanted to stay with him, he would call many times at night saying he wanted us there but nope, they did not listen. When he did pass away his trainers went missing as did some of his other personal belongings.
