After a terrible experience at whipps cross I attended Homerton A&E which was such a smooth and pleasant experience. All the staff were extremely kind and caring and the waiting time was not long. The nurses at urgent care in particular made my experience more pleasant. I ended up having a procedure done and attend daily dressing changes. All of the nurses from urgent care which I come across every day, especially nurses Claudette, Anne and Aulikki, are kind and experienced in their roles. They are also very caring and you can see that they have a genuine interest in their patients wellbeing and health. This definitely helps with the recovery process so just wanted to say a big thank you to them!!
Staffs, nurses, doctors were all nice and friendly. Didn't wait at all. The best hospital I've been so far.
This is thank you to maternity Team in this lovely hospital , im writing this review to thank everyone from the maternity team of homerton hospital , me and me wife came running after the water broke at the middle of the night , and we were impressed with how professional the team was . From the first second we stepped in all everything was organised and well prepared .nnAfter my wife gave birth we moved Templer ward . We received again great care from all the midwives those ladies are heroes . They looked after us for few days because my wife was sick and after the baby was sick ,, they taught us everything from A to Z , and explained to us everything .nnThanks to Elif who had answer to all our questions and looked after my wife and baby , Sister Scholastica who showed the mum how to feed the baby and was all night checking us . Clarissa how was looking after our baby health and monitoring him and how to deal with his condition , midwife Annalise who gave us lots of advices about feeding , hygiene and how to look after him . Thanks to Hanifa , ronic and Awula .
My experience at Homerton Hospital recently was one that I hold in high regard, I was born at Homerton over 30 years ago as well as the vast majority of my family members. It was only right this would be the select choice when it came for the birth of my first child. From the time my partners water broke and we got down to Homerton, my partner was treated in both the Turpin and Templar wards. The service and attention was that of the highest standard. All the staff were supportive, courteous and profession especially Freya and Emily who helped and supported at some of the most painful and crucial times but all the staff from logistics staff to consultants who tended and treated to us and our baby were amazing, I can see why the Homerton Hospital Maternity service is ranked at such high level. My son was successfully and supportively delivered here and it will be etched in my memory. The Doctors were amazing from the time of labour, all of the doctors literally swooped in like the Avengers and delivered our baby boy, such amazing and fantastic staff at the Turpin and Templar Ward.
Very awful antenatal care. The care is really concerning. I had a previous stillbirth so you would think they will be careful to provide appropriate care but noooo. Important appointment cancelled without being informed, the consultant who works only 2 days a week are never to be seen in 36 weeks I saw her only at 11 weeks when she promised she will be following me up but never saw her or any consultant after that. Appointment cancelled because the consultant closed her clinic, sending student who don’t really know what they are doing, they forgot to book my GTT until I pointed at after 32 weeks, they miss to share important information with me, very poor communication everything seems up side down. At 35 weeks I was fully doubting their care and ability to provide good care so I had no other choice than proceeding to emergency transfer of care to another hospital. I highly discourage pregnant women to choose this hospital for your care especially if you are high risk.
