Uncles Jewellers and Pawnbrokers are a family run jewellers located in Pemberton, Wigan. With a team of qualified and experienced members of staff, customers can expect a friendly and professional service.

They stock a wide range and styles of jewellery both new and second hand, Silver and Gold. They also stock Costume Jewellery, Watches including Sekonda amongst others, Silverado Beads and C'est la Vie jewellery.

Uncles are also a professional jewellery repair centre providing quality repairs for other jewellers and for the public at very affordable prices.

Took a treasured gents flat kerb bracelet approximately 10 inches long in for repair because after 35 years wear the links were very thin where they join. About 4 weeks later got a call it was ready. When I got there he presented me with a bracelet which wouldn't fit when he tried to put it on my wrist and it was different, these were no longer flat links which should have matched the necklace I wore. He was adamant and said that its the same weight and would shrink during the repair. It was now 6 and half inches long. He quickly added 5 large round rings to get in on my wrist and promised to order and fit links to correct this, which he never has. My problem was I couldn't prove it was the wrong one because I didn't have a suitable photo to correctly identify my one. He charged me £400 for this repair which I would have been happy to pay for a repair but I am convinced it was actually a replacement. I had had many repairs done by him over the years without a problem but this time he went too far. I KNOW WHAT HE DID AND SO DOES HE More importantly for me he stole my much loved and treasured bracelet given to me by my late wife some 35 years ago. My message to anyone taking precious items to him for repair is be careful, take photos before as your evidence, or take it somewhere else
Just picked up my grandmother's engagement ring, which was in a very sorry state when I dropped it off at the jewellers. I have to say how absolutely thrilled I am, the service & quality of this jewellers is amazing. I cannot thank them enough for what they have done. Would certainly recommend them. Thanku so much, xx
Brilliant service. The owner was so knowledgeable and helpful, being able to resize an engagement ring in just under two hours. The finished product looked flawless, would highly recommend Uncles. Will be using again in the future for any cleaning/polishing.
Brought two rings to be repaired, one of which was a slight size adjustment also. He was super thorough going over things with me and making sure I would get the correct size. Not only were they ready very quickly, but they were returned to me so so shiny, with the scuffs buffed out of the big one! I don't think they ever looked so good. The price was well worth it for the customer service and the fantastic work done. I will definitely be back when I next break one lol. Absolutely fantastic work! Thankyou so so so much! this is my dodgy happy face, and the photo does not do justice to just how shiny these rings actually came out.
Had my engagement and wedding rings resized at uncles and I am absolutely over the moon and so grateful to be able to wear my rings again. I have had rings resized previously by Ernest Jones and had a bad experience where I was shamed for having to have had my rings cut off due to health problems. I have had such a positive experience at uncles in comparison. so easy to approach and perfect service. Please consider this wonderful business if you need your jewellery mending. My rings are sparkling and like new. Thanks so much!
Cant thank mark enough for fixing my 2 rings and cleaning my 3rd ring! All 3 have come up looking brand new! I was shocked at the price I was even charged cheap for the work he has done! The service and advice I received aswell was out standing! Thank you very much one very happy girl today 0

Brilliant service, took my engagement ring to be repaired as an arm had come loose, decided to get that and my wedding ring replated and cleaned at the same time, all completed within a couple hours! Fast and very good service
Had 2 gold bracelets fixed and 3 rings made bigger, was going on a weekend away, and he did everything he could so I could take my jewellery with me , the price was brilliant and a fantastic service, would definitely recommend.
Excellent service and value Very friendly and helpful I had a ring made 2 sizes bigger and other rings cleaned …. All done same day service and all looked like new !! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use again for all jewellery repairs
