We always go to Uncle Wong's for our weekly treat of fish, chips and curry sauce. I think the prices are quite reasonable, never had any complaints with our food and lovely helpful staff. Would not go anywhere else.Food: 5/5
I always have sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, love it. We get rice and chicken chow mein along with a random dish to see what it's like. It's generally good. Typical Chinese takeaway.Food: 4/5

I had to add a review for this. Their Singapore fried rice was excellent and I think the way they provide sweet and sour chicken as sliced chicken keeps it fresh. Excellent food and I will be a repeat customerFood: 5/5
Iv been buying food from here for 17 years. Excellent food, really nice and helpful staff. Its my favourite chippy of any iv ever tried, the best curry sauce around and the Chinese dishes are great too, prices are very reasonable. Great place.
inedible. Not even worth 1 star. Greasy noodles made me feel sick.Rice looked like it had been re-heated multiple times..Just horrible
SO EXPENSIVE ... Pork balls were over cooked making the pork inside hard. Rice was stodgy and not much beef in the chow mein. Most Chinese give free prawn crackers but not this one. £22.50 on a really poor tasteless meal. Been a few times but can't justify that price for less than average food. Won't be back. Yuck
This is a very hit and miss Chinese restaurant. Very friendly staff but they must have a different chef with very different cooking skills on some days. One day the food could be great, chicken perfectly cooked with crispy batter, but other days fatty chicken with soggy batter, or another example, the beef chow mein does not have a consistent flavour, sometimes it tastes really good and other days tasteless and salty. The advantage is that there isn't many other Chinese restaurants in the local area and the price is not expensive. Apart from the unreliable food, the service and wait time is great.
