Recently i went to uncle tom to lower my car they did a very good job. Very professional and very polite. They are very honest and there prices are reasonable. They also alert u if any parts of your car needs changing like my car needed the anti roll link changed as it was in a critical condition and they replaced it instantly. Staff are friendly and i will definitely be coming here for my regular works on the car thanks uncle Tom.

I've been going to Uncle Tom's for many years whenever I needed any repairs done on my cars etc, there knowledge of cars and customer service is always 10 out of 10, plus the best prices around, they gave my car another life, I will definitely carry on using there service because there's not many garages left around the UK like uncle Tom's, I had my front control arms etc replaced and flywheel clutch replaced and more, Thanks guys always. Update December 2022  I have now taken more than 4 cars for various repairs and services,  they really are the best, I will always remain a loyal customer.

Called these guys for an emergency with my car while at work. They were on site within an hour and a half to collect my car. They sent me a video of everything they needed to do and then called me with a full breakdown of the costs and they managed to have it all done by the end of the working day for me.  Would highly recommend these guys.

I would like to take this occasion and to thank to Uncle Toms for professionalism and work ethics towards the client. I was advised by a neighbour who had the car fixed at this garage to go confident as the guys there are the best and have also reasonable prices. Just had my BMW fixed and I am happy with the services provided...I was coming with a bad experience from another garage as it's hard to find a good mechanic to trust. I'm very happy that I met Uncle Toms and I will be there any time I have issues with my car!!! Thank you very much indeed!!!

I took my car to Uncle Toms the day before my holiday to get my air conditioning fixed - a problem that had been hanging around for over a year. It was almost 30 degrees and I was dreading the prospect of a long drive to Cornwall with no A/C. The mechanic ran a diagnostic, found it was an electrical fault, fixed the fault and filled the A/C system with gas, all within two hours! I was charged a very reasonable £125 plus VAT all in.  I was so happy with the service  - I couldn't recommend them more! So great and rare to find a brilliant and trustworthy mechanic. Thank you so much Uncle Toms.

I've had my clutch & flywheel done, Antony is a very good and competent mechanic. I only gave 4 stars out of 5 as I find them to be a bit pricey but can't fault them for work quality & ethics. Overall I will not hesitate to use this garage in the future. Thanks

As a female it is hard to find trustworthy mechanics who won't see you coming and rip you off. I was recommended Uncle Tom's and I have to say that they were very helpful and looked at my car there and then. Diagnosed the problem and explained it all to me. I'm happy I have found a local garage/mechanic I can trust.

Think I finally found a trustworthy local garage.  Had some work done recently by another garage and when I went back after finding a leak they said one of my gearbox seals was leaking and they couldn't do it. So after some searching, I was recommended to Uncle Toms by a friend and from the time I brought my car in to the end of the day I was kept informed and treated with courtesy. They sent me videos of the problems turns out there were 2 leaks and explained what needed to be done, how much it would cost and how long it would take to get parts, etc. They followed Govt Covid-19 guidelines and used gloves and seat covers on my car.  I'll be thanking my friend and will definitely be recommending and using them again in the future.

Top quality service, always fast, no up selling. Wouldn't go anywhere else. 5*  Update over a year later, the folks here are unbelievably good in tough times. No nonsense and wouldn't go anywhere else.
