Decided to try Kerala food, something I'm not very familiar with. After seeing videos on social media on Southern Indian food, so I Google'd best Kerala restaurants and this came up along with a few others, but this had 7.1k reviews with averaging 4.7 at the time, so decided to make the journey to come here.nVery impressed with the quality of the food, and the flavours. Very different to what we're used to. The poppadoms with the chutney was a something out of the ordinary, particularly the lemon chutney, it went very well with the poppadoms. We also ordered parathas, lamb chop bhuna, Kerala king prawn curry, dosa, and the fish pollichathu stream cooked in banana leaf. The prices were reasonable.nWould I come here again ? absolutely, definately worth making the long drive for.
Perennially stupendous South Indian food. Every dish an absolute blinder, always over-order, always leave utterly utterly stuffed, always extraordinary good value. A fine dining establishment indeed. Worth a very big detour to get there.
Wasn’t a planned visit but this place came up in the Google search with good rating while we searched for a kerala restaurant. The food, service and ambiance was great. Sea food platter was the best in the group. Paalkappa and Beef roast was amazing as well. Kids enjoyed the dosa. Overall, satisfied with the experience at this place.nnSpace wise, it felt like bit congested but it wasn’t a bad experience. Well heated premises to enjoy the food in the winter. Must visit.
We had dinner here today - 8 people. The service was absolutely fantastic right from the time we entered the restaurant; staff were very polite, friendly and quick at attending to us.nnThe food: it will be hard to beat the taste and authenticity of the dishes serviced - we ate a lot. We would have loved to thank the chef for giving us such a wonderful experience.nnWe love quite far but went to the restaurant due to the rave reviews, which didn’t let us down.nnThank you again for the service and the dishes, we will be back!
Delicious Keralan food, definitely worth the trip out to East Ham. Lamb chops and chicken fry to start, squid curry and fish in banana leaf for mains. 100% high quality experience!
