I requested for Abula ..i was served with some the hardest amala i have eaten in my life i complained about it the guy that attended to me .. his responds was this is how we make it here .. its a shame ! This happened in the Dagenham branch ..

Wanted a different experience for our office monthly lunch..Called and actually booked a table ( my madness).We could not believe the state of the place.The floor was covered in bits of rice and dust. My collegue used a tissue to wipe the table and it it was filthy.The table tops were covered in stew marks and spilt drinks.We simply couldn't stay.The two ladies who were in the restaurant at the time did not give a damn! We simply could not stay.We left without buying..I was disappointed because the Canning town Branch that we normally buy from is clean..Squires Eat Ham should hang their heads in shame.How they are allowed to operate in such filth is beyond me...Never ever again...As for their staff oh well they are just a reflection of their surroundings...filthy!

I have went in there to grab some takeaway jollof rice with beef (I was intending for oxtail but they didn't have any ) . They charge £9 for portion which I wouldn't even complain about however after getting home and tucking in I realised I was just taken for a fool - meat was absolutely impossible to eat . It was hard and chewy :( I was expecting nice and soft beef , and I got something I couldn't eat . I made me feel so angry as £20 spent could have been towards some nice restaurant meal. I decided to call them prior to putting this review up , I got apology but that won't pay for my dinner tonight . It's a shame , but I will never go back in there and I warn you people too

The pepper soup was ok,ordered amala and ewedu at about 13:40 only to unwrap the food at 20:30 and discovered I was served poundo yam and ewedu which wasn't drawing and stew which wasn't well cooked(with the pepper tasting very raw) and was told to bring it back that night for a change....scale of 1-10 it is a 3.
