You know them colleges that people say are only after your money... congrats you've stumbled on to another one. After doing two courses here it becomes very apparent that staff are only out to get paid. There are so many low attendance records and missed assignment deadlines overlooked, along side low achievement 'passes', that it makes it difficult for those who do work hard and achieve high grades not to become upset or begin to coast. Apprenticeship tutors will sign you off on modules whether you do well or not because for each student that completes the course the assessor get's money or a bonus for. Which frustrates future employers when they find out that the empmoyee hired cant do the job, and the employee when they find out they have to retrain dispite being told they're now a fully qualified mechanic/plumber/electrician etc. Employability after college questions are often not answered or whitewashed over during enrollment interview (This question was only truly addressed half way through my course) making it disheartening to students who find out that the likeliness of employment after college is slim (to be honest though this could be many colleges, but it is an important question to ask and recieve adequate information)

Great place for learning and best teachers and environment. I have been studying for a short time, but recommend to learn here.

Tynemet is good college to study at and they lovely teachers there well the ones I had so far, I be studying at Tynemet for nearly 2 years now and still at Tynemet. If you looking for a college to go try Tynemet is great college but you might get some teaches you might not like at all though

tyne met college has got some great opportunities and some great teachers, however there are "some" teachers who make the studies are tyne met college a living hell. i studied at tyne met college for three years doing a sport course and for two of those years i had to go through the pain of being treated like an enemy from a certain teacher called Dale Brown. Dale Brown made my studies at tyne met college horrible, long and just overall made me not want to learn. So if you are looking to go study at tyne met college, make sure you find out what teachers you will be having first, because if dale brown is one of your teachers, i promise you now you won't be treated like an equal. Thanks for making my time at tyne met college horrible!

The staff are alright but the school in as a whole seems Tech challenged. the computers are slow and outdated.
