We just had the most wonderful stay in the Granary. Liz, John and team are amazing hosts- nothing too much trouble. Our grandsons loved exploring the farm and learning all about the dairy. Granary has everything you need and more ! We loved the hot tub too. So near the beach and nature reserve. This was our second visit and we are hoping to come back again in the near future.
Ty Tanglwyst – Holiday CottagesnnI am not sure I can capture how I really feel about our family stay at Ty Tanglwyst – Holiday Cottages, but I will give it a good try!nnWe booked all four cottages over a year ago for a recent trip we were making to Wales as a family where we were returning our beloved Mum/Grans ashes to her homeland in Wales.nnThe minute I contacted Liz at Ty Tanglwyst, I felt at ease and knew this place was going to be the best location for my family of 15 travellers from around the world.nnLiz went above and beyond to help me with this part of the trip booking and never got annoyed at my endless questions! Lol. She is an absolute star and a pleasure to deal with on every level. A genuine beautiful soul for sure!nnFast forward to our 4 days stay at this gorgeous property… Where we all wished we could have stayed longer!nOh my goodness!!! There are just not enough words to describe how perfect this place is and how warmly we were welcomed and treated by Liz and the Ty Tanglwyst Family!nnThe cabins were all clean and homely with their beautiful butter & milk in the fridges. We were greeted with wine and delicious shortbread as well. We all honestly could not have felt more welcome and cared for.nnThe day we scattered my Mums ashes we were able to host our Welsh family members at our cottages where we celebrated the afternoon away as a group. It was the perfect send off for Mum and a beautiful family reunion.nnI wish I could say so much more because Ty Tanglwyst deserves an extra eloquent review. From the very depths of our hearts Liz and family, THANK YOU so very much xxx We will return one day!!!!nn
Had an amazing time! Have stayed at both granary and coach house and both times were blown away by the hospitality and accommodations themselves. Very cozy with a wood fire fully stocked, a hot tub and beautifully thought out interiors. Was fantastic getting to see the cows going to get milked. The butter and fresh milk provided is amazing! Highly recommend!
Ty Tanglwyst Holiday cottages are my family's favourite place to stay in Wales. We visit every few years from Canada and can't imagine staying anywhere else!nnThe hosts provide the warmest welcome - they're wonderful!!nnThe cottages have so much charm and character - like your very own Escape to the Country. We visited a few weeks ago and got to use the hot tubs for the first time. It was a fantastic place to relax after putting the kids to bed. My children love the place too - especially getting to see the farm.nnThe cottages are in a fantastic location - you're surrounded by nature, but so close to the sea at Porthcawl, and within a short drive to lots of great places Margam Park, St. Ffagans, beaches and Castles.nnI've stayed in each of the cottages over the years - they're all lovely.nnI'd recommend staying here to anyone visiting South Wales. It's idyllic!!
Excellent Cottages for a quiet break. We stayed two nights in November, and the weather wasn't the best, but the cottage was cosy and warm. It had everything we needed. The place is ideally located to visit Cardiff, Swansea, the coast and beaches, and explore inland as well. We will definitely come back
