Went into this shop today, sat patiently as the staff were busy. An elderly couple who looked in a rush said they were only picking up boarding passes and asked if they could go infront of me which I foolishly agreed with. It turned out I'm still sat waiting 20 minutes later. Then another couple came in who were also made a priority over me as they' had an appointment ' I was promptly told by a rather large, overly made up assistant. Not once did she apologise or offer me an appointment, at which point I had to leave.Wow, now I work in customer service and how I was treated and made to feel in this shop was shocking. I gave this place a 2nd chance as it was, they sold me a holiday to Tunisia 2 years ago, where the hotel was so full of cockroaches Thomson had to stop using it due to poor ratings on Trip Advisor. Thomsons, you may be a market leader but you need to get the basics right because they do matter. Once bitten twice shy!!

The store is a little tired and could do with a refurb but the staff will go out of their way to help find what you are looking for. We sat for over 3 hours(!!) with Adora while she explored every option to get us our dream holiday. The service given was on par with Kuoni but at a fraction of the cost! Excellent.
