Tufnell Park underground station is served by the Northern line this station has a small entrance and very small ticket hall area. There is two lifts available here but no disabled access to the platforms as there is stairs to the platforms the station is very basic.
Lovely old station, 110 steps on this interesting spiral, two large lifts, sadly the station was closed when the lifts failed. Only 10 min walk to next station at Kentish Town.
Nice station, excellent services south Camden to both branches of the Northern line. Some excellent architecture too.
Typical Leslie Green designed ox-blood faience tiled exterior, stolid, functionally workaday. Some original fabric including honey/cream tiled platform walls but nothing here challenging expectations. Staff diligent, vigilant and en garde.
Today, Saturday 30/09/2023 at 19:15 I was coming from Tottenham Court Road, I was with my two years old daughter and my husband was with the push chair, I was behind him and I saw how he was trying to exit from the big door l because of the push chair and at the same time another girl on the other side of the door with a luggage was trying to enter. The green arrow was on my husband side to allow him to exit and the guy that was working there was very rude to my husband and ask him to wait on The side to allow the girl to enter… of course the girl couldn’t enter because she has a Red Cross. He stop the door and allow 3 people to exit before my husband and my husband was still waiting on the side with the push chair… please have a look the cameras from that day around that time. A person like this should not be working there.. not respect at all. It looks like white people has more priority for him.
Saturday morning, I need come to work. Station is closed because of lift failure. I don’t know if it’s joke. I understand every reason but why close whole station because of that? I’m young and can use stairs. Instead I need walk 10-15min to another station… Yeah I’m frustrated
Next station closures: Random days! Forcing station staff to close earlier since the pandemic started due to later openings. This is your last chance to sound the fire alert to put out smoking and always by the Paddington Carrington fire staff. Should just be called Tufnell Park. Some rest of the Northern line stations are open producing the Waterloo Road production logo, and no Wapping station is rebuilt away. Coordinating a good fair with cross-teaming is BANNABLE! You should go on the vehicle then take from Archway back! Forcing to go to Highgate is a communication station system. Someone elsewhere may apologize for any inconvenience caused for closing this station! *4 stars via Darthmouth Park 3*

Google keeps saying this station is open and it is not! The other day my search was adamant Tufnell Park was open now, I merrily hoped on the train excited as it’s my closest station, although very wary because about 6 weeks prior I had been tricked by Google but hoped for the best. On the train and we start approaching Tufnell Park station, I get up and motioned towards the door, train slows right down then keeps moving to Archway! Sadly my soul was destroyed and I melted down the window in despair I dare not look around the train at the potential giggling faces and kept my head sunk lowly into my chest trying to style out as though Archway was always my intention. The moment I arrived at Archway I jumped off the train as quickly as possible leaving the embarrassment you caused me behind, which is what prompted me to write this review. Open Tufnell Park station
