Small station with big potential. More connection from here By Great Northern, Thameslink, underground and buses for other parts of London. small set of stairs for British rail, connect to underground station. It’s home to Arsenal Football Club they also have their shop to the outside. Staff is helpful and service is good from this station.
Would be a great venue if numbers were restricted to a realistic level. Thousands of people all leaving at the same time, trying to get out of the venue and then blocking all the streets in the neighbourhood. No idea about the park itself.
Very tired station, needs modernisation inside. Always leaks from ceiling and uneven underfoot. Narrow walkway where underground meets mainline, very crowded at peak times and when Arsenal at home. Poor planning and organising during football with barriers but no signs of one way system.
Really proud to see two tfl staff at this station Daniel Eastwood & Keith Porter helping someone in need with such kindness and patience. These two absolute legends went above and beyond thank you both so much for working so hard to help, making sure that person felt safe and was able to continue their journey home. Honestly heartwarming to see two young men with such an emotionally intelligent and proactive approach to the situation. Your attitude and lack of judgement was beyond that of staff I've seen in similar situations in the past. I hope you both are aware of the difference you made. Tfl will also be getting this feedback directly. Keith and Daniel if you see this review, You guys were the dream team and it was a pleasure to meet you both.
After busy week at work I got to Finsbury Park via the underground and went to find my booked train to Cambridge . No trains. Saturday morning just before half nine .No information. No staff at the platforms to advise . Surely they know a lot of people go tube to mainline? Had to buy an expensive new ticket to go a different route to get to my destination in time from another station
Finsbury Park was under repairs, still nice station. Good connections with central London for trainspotters and commuters.
Good Convenient for public transport buses are frequent and underground or overground to various places available
Good transport hub and actually has a park next to the station called Finsbury Park.
Can be quite busy and signage is a bit unclear especially transferring from tube to rail.
I live in the area and every time I take the tube I can see people going through without paying for the ticket while the staff members are chatting, laughing between them or even sleeping while sitting. If you need any assistance or have any questions staff seem bothered to answer or help mostly of the times.
