Food is amazing, the picture tells you that every Friday night in Brixton is carribean food. Their beef steak tender, rice & peas along with a choice of pasta or okra salad is the only cuisine I go for. The shop needs to get bigger. So far, the best in carribean food I had so far.Food: 5/5

The food is always good here don’t know what happened this time. I ordered jerk chicken and got stew chicken instead. Also paid for large food and got small one.
I stopped by True Flavors on my lunch break, and to be honest, I was a bit dubious at first. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the peppered steak with steamed vegetables, and it was hands down the best I've had in a long time from a Caribbean takeaway. The flavors were spot on, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the veg was just right—fresh and full of flavor. For those who know good food, the last place I had peppered steak this good was Scandal's in Harlesden, and that’s saying something. A big thank you to the team at True Flavors—I'll definitely be returning! Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic and delicious Caribbean cuisine.l
I was recommended this place by a friend who said it was amazing and he wasn’t wrong. I tried the chicken stew, jerk chicken, wings and peppercorn steak. All were cooked to perfection and very tasty. I have been here 3 times in the space of 2 weeks!Food: 5/5
It's disappointing in both visits, the sell a so called fresh little bottles of home made " fresh juice" for £4.50, but full of sugar. I had a veg Patti which i had to throw away, it was guyee and sticky. The previous visit was given a beef instead of chicken, the lady could have said that she run out of chicken. Needless to mention the rudeness
This is my first time going to True flavours and definitely my last. The lady who served me was rude as she forgot parts of my order and was wrong and strong about the situation. The jerk chicken and rice was decent, but the curry chicken was dry. The service was all around slow despite the fact the shop was empty. Overall go to New Tings, you’re less likely to be disappointed.
Ordered a LARGE curry chicken and all I got was curry in a coleslaw tub and rice and pasta in the thinnest Tupperware. It was a joke. 4 mouth fulls of curry, palm full of rice and 9 pieces of pasta. Ordered through Uber eats and the grand total of £17. Unacceptable. Gentrification really working for Brixton businesses.Food: 2/5
I had only one order from them and it was delicious. The best peppered steak I've ever had. It's a little too pricey, large portion was 13 quid and I didn't feel full but was very hungry. Meat was exactly how I like it but I take one star off cos of the price. Other than that, no complains.
Ordered something in shop & got the complete wrong order. Called to speak to the ‘manager’ , he had ZERO customer service skills and did not try to rectify the situation. There was no apology about the mishap on their part. DisgustingFood: 2/5
