Stayed for one night in April, staff friendly and welcoming, we ate there and the food was very nice, I had rump steak and chips, bar restaurant had good atmosphere, we had room 16, the hotel is reasonable for the price, bed comfortable, shower was under powered but usable, room 16 has trees over hanging it and when it rained there was constant drip drip drip on the dorma window which kept us awake most of the night, we would definately stay again. but definately not in room 16

I havent been here for an awful long time. The inside was really nice and had an open fire, even though they struggled to keep it alight. We ordered carvery and were not dissapointed. The food was excellent. Because we ordered carvery the dessert was half price so i ordered sticky toffee pudding which was fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend the place.
