I love this restaurant because the selection was quite large for meals based on sea food. Amazing chips and the portion size was just right so I didn't leave anything! I had coca cola with my meal (I think) and that was presented well. We were put on a table quite quickly despite the recently long queue. We were only stood in that queue for around 5 minutes before being seated. They knew when to come and ask for our orders and the meals were tasty. We thought the price wasn't too bad either for the good we were served.

Called at a busy time - had to queue to get seated. It was worth the wait, fast and efficient service, good menu although I couldn't resist the stock fish pie. Recommended.

Very good and reliable food if slightly uninspiring. It's certainly reliable as we eat here every time we visit Whitby and service is very professional. Would appreciate a bit more of an adventurous menu (not even any lobster which they catch a metric muck ton of every day).

Service was good, and the speed of food from ordering to on table was very fast but the pricing is very ambitious. That being said the food is excellent, but you're definitely paying for the reputation and the name. £13 for regular fish and chips & then extra for curry sauce...

A fish and chip restaurant which knows how to cook. Six of us visited on a cold day just after Christmas. There was a small queue to enter and we got sat at a reasonable small table as they were full. Despite the full occupancy, the food came quickly, served by friendly staff and it was lovely. Impressive. Well with a visit.
