We found everything we were looking for whilst on holiday. Due to it being a bank holiday week some shelves like the fresh fruit were as expected looking a bit empty. The supermarket is accessible with a scooter or wheelchair. I would have liked to have seen a larger selection of Whitby products, other than I can't complain. Generous amount of self service checkouts.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff that are so kind to my elderly father who struggles to get around so orders the stock that arrives so fast you'd think they use a Tardis, wide variety of goods, always faced up correctly and never messy. They work hard keeping this place tidy, clean and running smoothly and it shows.nnHaving worked for the Co-Op years ago it's nice to see they still uphold the high standards of customer service and quality stock. Will continue to return for my everyday goods.
A large store for a co-op, with lots of selection of things to fulfil your needs. Reasonable price. The aisles were clean, well-lit, and large. Staff were friendly. The finest cooperative I've ever shopped at.
Used occasionally for shopping but have to be selective. Tinned tomatoes for example are almost 3 times the price of my usual venue. Good choice of breads and pastries - fresh sourdough loaves at c.£2.00 are good but individual buns and baked items expensive.A pleasant and convenient store. Staff on payment tills but I had a problem with auto checkout where, for example, a required screen didn’t match the available ‘buttons’ on the handset.
Fantastic place in Whitby. One of the only supermarkets, so it's big and has basically everything you need.nnAs it's a Coop, the prices can be a little.on the steep side for some things. However with it being one of the only markets, they are decently competitive with say the other budget friendly places.nnDefinitely worth coming in and stocking up a bit of you are staying in the area for a few days.
