It's okay. Convenient if you have nothing else or are travelling with a dog, which very few hotels will accept. Only spend 1 night there. clean bathroom, but the carpet was average, and very dusty around the edges of the room. There are numerous grocery stores very close by, walking distance. The hotel is currently in the middle of an industrial estate which is redeveloping.
We would like to say a special huge thank you to the hotel team - probably the first time we have met such attentive, sensitive and caring attitude of staff to the guests since we have been travelling. Now a few words about the room. It is bright, spacious, nicely renovated, with comfortable and stylish furniture, high-quality plumbing, air conditioning and a mini fridge. The room comes with everything you need hygiene kits, shower gels and shampoos, bathrobes and slippers. After staying here for 3 days my husband and I decided it was one of the most beautiful, comfortable and atmospheric hotels we had ever stayed in. We wish the hotel prosperity and look forward to coming back here again
Room cleanliness is a little rough... I don't think a Robot vacuum is as effective as the real thing....We found a robot not at work on entry to our room.. Dogs allowed to holiday there and there were plenty of them too... not being a dog owner we found it odd hearing them bark when people walked about... and how many dogs do you see wipe there feet when they come in from the rain? Bathroom clean... coffee facilities and kettle Not... a small monitor style television... overall a good comfortable 2 days stay with excellent reception service... just don't inspect too closely
Wa were happy to stay one night with the dog. Outside 18 degrees and still too warm in the room during the night even I put fan into open window. Room was clean and staff was nice and helpful but I recommend to spend more time with bathroom cleaning!
Rooms are unbearably hot and smell unpleasant, as if many people have smoked in the room over the years. Price is good and location is OK - but our sleep over the past 2 nights was absolutely awful due to the temperature of the room this is not during a heatwave - it is raining. Windows do not open more than a couple inches and the fan in the room does little to help. I get the sense this is where one comes to have an affair and to do little else besides.
The room was quite large, the bed was comfortable. What was bad was that the accommodation was not exactly cheap considering the location out of the center in an industrial estate and you have to pay for wifi!I think that wifi or toilet brush should be part of the basic equipment. And finally... The carpets in the room and in the common area were very dirty and had not been hoovered for some time.
We had a nice spacious room for 2 people, a lovely hot shower, toilet room wasnt too small either, the bed was a good size with 2 additional pillows. Relatively quiet for a hotel, the standard noise of other guests is expected. Tea and coffee in the room with additional tea coffee offerd by the staff at the front desk.Rooms: 4/5
Not too far a walk from Porthmadog, maybe 10mins or so. Unfortunately visiting during a heatwave was a major issue due to no Aircon and windows only opening a crack. Clearly not the hotels fault we had a heatwave but we ended up leaving a day early it was just unbearably hot in the room. Room smelled a little of stale smoke, probably made worse by the heat which wasn't particularly pleasant. Great staff on reception but I wouldn't personally stay here again.
Standard Travelodge as they go. Room are clean but basic. Building is old, has woodern floors and kids running around on 2nd until late. No EV charging here. Little/No CCTV in carpark. WIFI is free for 30 mins then paid for. No 5G coverage here. Little/No 4G coverage. TV in room only had a few channels. Breakfast, we used the 'Breaktimes cafe' on the industrial estate 2mins walk away which is outstanding. Evening meals, you only have pubs and a chippy which are all closed by 9pm. Pubs were either out of food or tables by 7:30pm. Tescos is 10mins walk away. Would I stay here again, No.
Lovely welcoming receptionist Nice and warm as it’s extremely cold, lovely fragrance as you walk in of apple and cinnamon, nice clean and comfortable room.
