Lovely family day out. We sat in the 3rd class area so we could take in the full beautiful view's and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Visited this place last August with the family, gorgeous scenery via the train ride from Porthmadog, dog friendly train, lovely little cafe , had the pleasure of meeting the hairy bikers. Recommended

What an experience with some amazing views, definitely recommended if that is what you are looking for

We thoroughly enjoyed our train journey. The staff were all very friendly and informative, we took a picnic with us but there is a café which must have a mad rush when the train arrives. But the time flew by as we did the walk and after the kids had a play. It's dog friendly too so our little pooch enjoyed herself. If you want to take in the views sit on the right hand side in the direction of the engine as the majority of it is that side. Definitely recommend and there is also free parking available which is only a short 5-10 min walk away.

Great train journey up in yo the hills 3 hours long wet outside but warm in on train

Great railway! Would recommend to everyone who is interested in vintage steam engines. The scenery is beautiful as you go through villages, forests, and the Welsh mountains. Cannot recommend enough!

Fun ride up the mountain to the old quarry. Make sure to watch for the waterfall. Beautiful views of the Welsh country side.

A vintage station in Wales with steam train. One of a kind.

Beautiful setting and a really nice station. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Unfortunately the cafe had very limited food and drink choice, personally I think the railway are missing a trick here as they have a big outside area to eat and drink plus watch the trains come and go. We did the walk that's sign posted just of the carpark with our two dogs. Definitely reccomend doing it.
