Friendly welcoming staff, covid precautions in place. Bathroom door didn't quite shut properly but very clean room, comfy beds, extra tea, coffee etc available on request. We took advantage of a special deal so exceptionally good value. Plenty of parking available. Burger King and Gregg's next door and a service station.Rooms: 4/5
Clean and good value for money, with very friendly staff. Building is not badly presented and does not look tired. Worth noting that there is no food, but it's on the same site as a petrol station which does the usual stuff.
We had a wonderful stay at Travelodge, North Muskham. The receptionist there was brilliant, she helped us in every way for our short stay. We asked for a quiet room and we got that. The location is superb... it's just off the motorway but quite enough to relax. Highly recommended.
Can't believe what I'm reading in the reviews here. Look, it's a Travelodge, a budget no frills place to kip. Staff couldn't be any more helpful and friendly. Room was really nice and we had a bath too! I like the way the tea and coffee is constantly restocked at reception so you can help yourself. Bed really comfy too. We stayed 2 nights and loved it here,. Yes it's a little dated with keys not cards - but I liked that. You also get the feel that the staff are really proud of their Travelodge - and that goes a long way. Pity there's not a bar but realistically it's not big enough to justify having one and the adjacent BP garage sells booze anyway. Its nice and quiet too as its settling is well back from the main road. So ignore the negative comments unless you're expecting a Radison Blue standard - this place is great!
On my arrival I was met by the manger who was very welcoming. The staff are helpful. The hotel was spotless the room smelt fresh and clean you can tell they staff have gone above and beyond I don’t normally do reviews but I thought I would express my views thanks againRooms: 5/5
The place is cheap and cheerful and value for money.... The reception staff was amazing and more than happy to help with anything. The room had a funny smell and the teaspoons were dirty.
Rooms comfortable and spacious. Very clean. Unfortunately nowhere to eat within the travellodge but next is a Burger King. The adjacent garage also sells a good selection of sandwiches. There is also a local pub, the ferry, where good quality bar meals can be eaten, about fifteen minutes walk in the North Muskham village.
Cheap and cheerful, rooms are looking past their best. The lady on reception is very friendly and talkative. Only a burger king on site, the BP garage is fairly cheap, also a pub within walking distance.
We have had many very positive stays at Traveloge North Muskham The rooms and facilities are good. The manager, staff helpful and friendly. We will book to go there again. We have just returned from another 3 night stay. The premises have had a very positive and uplifting overhaul our room was quiet and a pleasure to stay in. Lisa and Susan on reception are most polite and helpful. On arrival we noticed how warm and fresh the space felt, very welcoming. The location is a convenient 5mls from Newark. There is ample parking and service station facilities are available and adequate. We continue to enjoy our stays here and have already booked for a further stay.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful on our arrival. The room was clean and tidy including the bathroom. There was tv in the room also. We had one double bed and one folding bed, both were comfortable. The price of the room was reasonable. Though it states in their website free Wi-Fi this is only for 30 minutes durinf the stay. Though I would be happy to return if needed.
