Service. Service. Service. This place excels in service. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely staff and make you feel really welcome. Although not the most modern hotel in the world, very reasonable prices for rooms and food and drink. Recommended!

Lovely, comfortable stay. Lovely staff there, always making you feel welcome. A brilliant place to stay would 100% recommend it. Location is lovely and the rooms make you feel at home. Just a fantastic service.

A very popular facility in Newark, this family run hotel has a very homey feel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with comfortable beds. The restaurant is quite good with reasonable prices. The hotel is close to downtown and the train station. This is one of my favourite stays

Nice atmosphere great food and service. All the family felt welcome and had a great sunday lunch.

Okay for a nights stop over but wouldn't want to stay any longer. didn't have dinner or use the bar as a private function had overrun the hotel. breakfast was average and a little antiquated for my tastes (eggs cooked to order, which is no bad thing, while everything else is laid out in a buffet)
