Room are super quiet here, and for me that’s all I really require.nnIf I had to point out some easy fix’s for management, it would be that over the 4 nights we were here there was always some type of rubbish on the floor in the hallways.nnOne other issue is there is only one lift that works and I was told by a frequent guest they always only have one lift working when he visits!nnConsidering the lobby is on the 1st this becomes an issue around checking and checkout times!nnGreat value for money though!
Travelodge? More like a Sweatlodge. The hotel is a converted office building, and the rooms have large windows facing east or west. The windows only open a few inches, and on sunny summer days the rooms heat up like a greenhouse. Small desk fans are provided, but just blow hot air around. The reception area, bar and dining room have air conditioning, but it was a huge mistake to not bother with the rooms. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel in warm weather.nnIt's a shame because everything else about the hotel is great and it's good value. I found all the staff I talked to helpful, the rooms were clean and breakfast was tasty. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from both Teddington train station and Teddington's main shopping street, so it's very convenient.
I've stayed here a few times and never been disappointed. Clean rooms and large comfortable beds. A bit hot in summer as no Aircon. Good breakfast.nA bit expensive in summer, but not bad by London standards.
Room had 29° on arrival, Wndow does hardly allow airflow through the miniscule gap due its forced maximal tilt angle, No way of manually activating air exhaust in the bathroom. Cold water not cold, as required for hygienic safety reasons. No other source of drinking water in the room. For 170€ a night I expect a place where I can sleep. I honestly evaluate to sleep on a park bench, it would be colder. And the kicker: only 30 min of free wifi otherwise one has to pay.this is 2025. Not 1995.nI expect not a lot, but a place to sleep, so I can perform in my business meeting. This place does not deliver that. 170€ is not cheap at all.nIf the hotel building does not perform in summer, just close it down for that time,..nOne lamp does not even turn on.
Lovely room, nice and clean. Lady at reception was lovely. The next guy I saw at the reception when trying to buy crisps at the bar was less Lovely. Was on a phone call whilst I was trying to talk with him and was abrupt. Other than that good hotel.
