We received a warm welcome when checking in and an offer of help with carrying our luggage up the fairly steep stairs to our room on the top (2nd) floor. The room was very quiet considering it faced the main road. The view over the park was lovely as it was winter with no leaves on the trees. The room, although small, had everything you need for a short break, but would be a bit of a struggle with a large suitcase. The en suite shower room was clean and everything worked, although there appeared to be a bit of a water pressure issue at the top on the hotel. Water was very hot once it ran through a bit. The hotel offers lots of deals on the price of rooms and the price fluctuates a lot depending on how many bookings they have. Included in the price for our room was a continental breakfast which is completely self service. There was a choice of juice, cereal, meat/cheese, bread and pastries and there was plenty available. There is an adequate car park round the back which is a godsend in the Hampton Court area. A few hundred yards walk to Hampton Court Palace and the railway station for trains to London. Bridge Road restaurants and real ale pubs are only a 5 minute walk away.

Really disappointed. The cleanliness of the rooms are NOT good . The diven sheet on my bed was absolutely disgusting(I have photographed this ) The dust on the furniture and top of toilet shows the rooms are not cleaned well . The smell of sewage in the room is disgusting and to horrify me more when I was lying awake unable to sleep I looked at some reviews, customers complained about the smell last summer ! The walls were filthy as no headboards and I assume they are rooms usually let to work men. We decided against trying the breakfast due to the cleanliness of the rooms .. I know you are not advertising as 5 star but a little bit of pride would not go a miss ! The room was warm though !

We stayed at this place whilst having a romantic break , booked a double bed. When we got there we were told that a BOO BOO had been made so we could have either a tiny room with a double bed or a room with twin beds . The room with a double bed was tiny and claustrophobic so we opted for the twin room. Went to use the toilet when we unpacked and the toilet was full of someone elses faecus, also the sink was cracked badly the shower and sink were filthy and hadn't been cleaned. There was at least a 3 inc gap under the bedroom door which was a health and safety issues as if there had been a fire smoke would have killed us before the breakfast did , oh and not forgetting the valance on my lumpy uncomfortable single bed was filthy and stained. I felt like I was being bitten all night and not by my husband. Breakfast was not good either stale bread and crosonts and meat and cheese looked old coffee was ok but I have mine black no sugar thank god , we was given £15.00 of the bill to compensate for there BOO BOO but to be honest I was glad to leave. Would I go back NO , travelodge is much better, by the way I have photos of all of this , apart from the toilet which we quickly flushed , lovely location but everything else very poor.

Just returned from a 2 night break in HE hotel , no one on reception wen we arrived had to let ourselves in with pin code entry after several attempts , rooms very small but clean and tidy , no bar meals or food / drinks offered throughout the stay and very little attention from staff , all in all ok if you just want somewhere to sleep , very basic.

Ok for a night, no receptionist and they weren't picking up phone so had to assume the key was ours.
