Standard Travelodge. It was clean, tidy, warm and quiet. The water pressure was very low so showering was an issue sadly. Only there for one night so no point in trying to get it fixed by the time I realized. Staff were friendly and helpful. Worth the money.
No hot water and wasn't told until I checked in, no effort to contact me and let me let me know which is extremely disappointing. Then the hotel had a fire so we all had to evacuate the hotel at 6:50am. Fire service said it was more than likely the robotic hoovers that were on charge and then set light to the linen store. No refund or compensation offered. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
Does the job for a budget hotel, on a one night stay! Carpets very worn, but everything else was clean, spacious and comfy beds.Rooms: 4/5
Clean and comfortable for an overnight stay. Paid an extra charge for our dog and was happy to do so. Evening and morning staff were welcoming and helpful. Hairdryers not in rooms post covid but are available from reception just have to ask. Ordered a boxed breakfast for the following morning which was more than adequate. Would stay here again. Next to a coffee chain and also a fuel station close by if needed.
Specifically googled do all Travelodge hotels have air conditioned rooms. Stayed at this hotel, air con was a small desk fan. All in a 35° heatwave. Aside from that standard budget hotel eighties décor nothing special. Hot Water and a comfy bed be good in winter
the bathroom was clean but the actual room seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned; the bedsheets had a dusty smell to them and the carpet was also dusty. there was no proper wifi options, you either had to pay or only get 30 minutes every 24 hours. starbucks and aldi nearby so good services.Rooms: 2/5
Pretty grim, even for a travelodge, which I never have high expectations for! Old, dusty, damaged, desperately in need to renovations and new furniture, bathrooms, carpets and beds/mattresses. Also, the night staff when we checked in were good. But the morning staff were not on recepton, ignored the phone, and were founding having a chat in the back room. Will not stay here again.
Serves the purpose for a budget hotel. Comfortable bed and clean but not so clean . Can smell sweet on spare pillows pillows . Burrowed iron and had dark stains. toilet roll holder had so much of dust as if was never wiped or cleaned. WiFi free for 30 mins only then have to purchase . Helpful staff at the reception. Decent size room for adults with kids . Soaps and shampoos are in the dispensers rather than the mini shampoo sets we see at the hotels , my room had wrong dispensers ; the bath had handwash and the sink had shower gel. Free parking . Google maps and Waze guides to the wrong direction and leads to the wrong exit at the round about , the actual exit is the service exit and take left at the fuel station or can see travel lodge from there. Do not take the KFC exit for this place. Or search by the hotel name rather than the address on your sat nav.
the staff were polite though we didn't see many not there weren't many just we only saw the receptionist and I think a couple of cleaners the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the only thing I had a problem with was phone reception although not the hotels fault, but If you're on a business trip I could see this being a problem unless you pay for internet access, maybe the hotel could through this in free can't see it costing them that much
No fans, AC.. no English breakfast. A bit disappointed. Barring the aforementioned, you are after the rest.. ok accommodation. The receptionist was a chain smoker and he smokes at the entrance every 10 minutes making it a bit annoying for customers.Rooms: 3/5
