A great stay, our 2nd stay beautiful room, only complaint, the shower needs looking at, the drain needs lifting out, clogged up with hair, the hose won't stay up. Apart from that lovely.
Visited twice. Nice meals, varied menu with the usual pub grub on offer. I had chicken in white wine cream sauce and dill. Partner had the pie which he enjoyed. The galaxy cheesecake was a generous slab as was the sticky toffee pud. Pretty reasonable prices. Friendly service.
A great welcome when we visited The Red Kite Inn today. We all had a 2 course Sunday lunch which was superb. Plenty of food served and to a very high quality. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The drinks were reasonably priced. It also had a great atmosphere which is sadly lacking in many pubs these days. Our first time to visit here but certainly not our last. Five stars, very well deserved.
We went there to meet family who had travelled from down south. Lovely pub but was quite disturbed to see the young barmaid go outside on 3 occasions for a smoke and come back in and not wash her hands or anti bac. Hasn't covid taught us anything? Other than that the experience was good.
Lovely Sunday lunch let down by not being warm enough. Just barely enjoyable because of this, but the food is good quality cooked properly and plentiful. Nice to see social distancing being observed so carvery not self service at the moment.
Lovely atmosphere and staff. The food was brilliant and there was a lot of it. Probably the nicest sweet potato fries I have ever had. Shame we were too full to try a dessert but there is always next time. Prices are a little high but still highly recommended for a quiet meal out.
Went here for dinner today after going to see the alpacas with my kids and wife. Great service and great food. Highly recommend. The chef and waitress were very attentive and done everything they possibly could for us. Hopefully we can go back soon and take other members of the family with us. This place deserves 5 stars for sure! Thank you
Called in on a Saturday afternoon friendly staff but the food was nearly inedible my stake was way over cooked and the chips were hard I'd give them 3 out of 10 because the onion rings were nice. Very disappointed as we've been wanting to try it out for a long time
Took my wife here on Sunday for a carvery. I had beef pork and turkey, the beef melted in my mouth. Very generous portions. Had the homemade cheesecake for desert which was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Have already booked agim for next Sunday. Well worth a visit
Good carvery and was cheap on a Sunday, nice slice of beef, great desert, would go again they also have quorn sausage for the vegetarian option
