The stay was very good. But was surprised to receive a parking charge amounting to £50! Did not expect that at all. Parked in front of the hotel but was told it was okay to park there in front of mcdonalds. Hopefully it gets rectified in time as charge will go up to £100. Be warned! Shame as we had a lovely stay in the hotel.Rooms: 4/5
Got two parking charges totalling £120 for staying the weekend said I’d overstayed my allowance at the McDonalds drive thought on-site obviously wasn’t at McDonalds for 14 hours each night, I contested these charges, as I was allowed to park as a hotel guest but received a letter as a good will gesture they would drop them to £20, rip off and definitely needs to be stopped
I was on the way home from a couple of days away and became ill, so I called my daughter and she found me this hotel to stay for the night. Despite the last minute booking they gave me an accessible room close to reception. The receptionist met me in the car park and took my luggage in for me. She was very kind and caring. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable After a good sleep I was able to finish my journey home. Thank you Travelodge for looking after me in a time of need.

Serves a purpose and decent value. Next to petrol station and a very busy McDonalds. Girl in office helpful.

Great spot really friendly staff clean room great price
Free parking but get there before 18:00 as it fills up then with contractors who finish work in the area. Asda 15 mins away by car. Mc Donald's is by the travellodge.Rooms: 5/5
Clean and comfortable room. Paul reception went above and beyond to assist me when my phone charger failed. He was chatty and funny with a great personality. I would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 4/5
