Food was exceptional as usual. Portions are always huge. I could stand my spoon on end in the Cullen skink, or smoked haddock and clam chowder as they call it, such was the quantity of fish and potatoes! Fillet of beef pasta was sublime. Unbelievably they had the audacity to offer me the dessert menu! Like I had any room left for that. Great service and relaxed atmosphere makes this THE stand out dining experience in East Ayrshire. Bravo!

Food was excellent, hot and fresh. No-issue whatsoever on that front and good value for money. Service was good and no issues either. Sadly the toilets were dirty, some taps didn't work, some other aspects broken, and yet something so simple to fix. The area is run-over at time of this review by builders for a new housing estate who have parked in every disabled space. This made an 86 year olds trip hell despite her having a disabled badge. The builders begrudgingly moved when asked (after taking time to finish a cigarette and go to the toilet). These small things are part of the customer experience and hotel management should and could easily be addressing them.

Attended wine tasting and meal for two. Thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend to others. Great night and great meal

Food was really good and walked in with no reservation at 4pm on a Sunday. We were fortunate to get a table as it was really busy. Would advise reservation if possible. Service was good and food arrived quickly. Kids portions were good too. Would definitely go back. Was a first time visit for us.

Lovely place for a meal, good food well presented. Well-appointed restaurant, pleasant staff. Only slight minus point is the cost, prices are a towards the high side of average. Still, well worth a visit.
