Stayed hear for 2 nights, we had a family room and I was really shocked with the room it was immaculately clean it was an absolute pleasure to stay in. We have paid much more for rooms in other places and they have been horrible so for the price we paid hear this was a shock to us. Just wanted to say the cleaning staff are doing an amazing job. Location is great 2 literally took 5 minutes to walk to the beach and there is a witherspoon 5 minutes walk away and we had breakfast there each morning. On my experience hear I can't recommend this place highly enough well worth staying hear.
Very friendly welcome and easy check in. Stayed two nights and all staff encountered were helpful and smiling. Room was clean and location was good. Free parking in the adjacent shopping centre is a bonus.
It's value for money ...but not anything more.nnRooms are clean, bathrooms are good and WiFi worked every time.nnBut: rooms are noisy, thin curtains that can't block much light, and radiator panels keeping turning off. Result: Can't sleep.nnI had to stay here about 6 times in Nov 2023 to April 24, so I took along an electric blanket and an extension wire to avoid feeling cold at night.
Travelodge was in a good location near the dual carriageway. That’s about as good as it gets.nI have genuinely been in bigger prison cells!! The room was tiny, the shower room was really small and there was a funky smell coming from the carpet.nThere is no way to control the temperature in the room apart from the window. We were there in May and it was uncomfortable warm. We left the window open, but there was a constant alarm coming from the car park across the road.nVery disappointed and won’t be back!
Centrally located, very basic, comfortable rooms. Kettle but no fridge. Old fashioned shower with only fixed overhead spray. But clean with good beds.
