It's not too bad. The hotel is pretty central with easy access to travel routes. The room I stayed in was pretty small and showed its age. The AC didn't work, but there was a heater in the room which, due to the small size of the room, heated things up nicely. The room itself was clean, but I had to change the kettle as that was a little worse for ware once again due to age breakfast was ok, not the best but certainly not the worst I've ever had. Overall, the hotel was fine for a couple of days, but any longer than that, I'd recommend looking for a different one.
I’ve stayed in many Travelodge locations and this is one of best. It’s quite new, and has free parking but the car park isn’t huge. The check in was efficient and friendly and a request for a plate, cutlery and some ice was no problem at all. Slept well.
Disgusted behaviour, never used before and will never again. On website booking 1 night chose my daynnPaid extra for breakfastnnWent to pay then given too options one of around £89 which I thought after a while a tad much for being so far from city and a 2nd option of £45 savernnUnderstanding from previous stays else where saver just means no refunds or changes which I thought I’m staying so why the worry and at half price it’s a stealnnPaid for it all then email came though and I was scanning the details then I noticed the date was different from what I choose being a day later !!! Strange so I immediately called the hotel and said that the site had glitched and switched days they looked into it and said yes you click on the offer of a cheap day !!!!!nnI clicked on offered but no mention of date change !! Why would you offer this makes no sense so asked as it was there fault for offering something stupid to switch back to my date I wanted and needednnTo be told sure £50 for the day on top plus surcharge !!! But I chose not to click on the original option because I not wanted to pay that muchnnSo Iv ended up loosing out as no cancellation on “saver” tho it’s not even the date I requestednnWas told it’s part of the T’s & C’snnYes my human error for not looking but company error for offering a date that I not askednnZero stars if it would allow
Stayed for 3 nights:nFirst room smelled musty and damp but the staff were nice and changed rooms. The Heating was set to 22° and reset every hour, so I had to wake up to change it back to 18°- very hot without doing so and annoyed us. It was not ideal still and the room had dirt in it but it was better than the previous. There was holes in the wall and it was very loud and prone to hearing footsteps in the corridor sounding loud.nGood parts:nLidl was close.nI could sleepnThe Costa and Subway were good options.
In our room was pretty cold. The heating was broken and didn't function. They give as one electrical radiator, but it isn't enough. We were only hugging all night. My husband is a nice hot guy. It's a reason why I'm not frozen
