Loved staying at the holiday inn. Staff are great. Room service is spot on. Lovely food brought to our room. Parking is free long as you put your number plate on the system come and go whenever you like. Free WiFi was good enough to stream YouTube at 720p.

Firstly you are greeted with the Holiday Inn fluorescent sign blinking in and out, which sets the scene for the rest of this run down hotel. The room AC was disabled by management (apparently its now the winter season and therefore no longer needed..."and not that they were saving on there energy bills at customer expense") On our visit, it was too warm to sleep..window left open all night. The passage way overlooked from our hotel window was overgrown with weeds and long grass...clearly neglected, not maintained. This could be a really good hotel, nice grounds and surroundings, but management too engaged in cost cutting rather than customer satisfaction. Don't think I would stay there again...there are better hotels in the surrounding area.

Went for a wedding fair (which was not great but that was nothing to do with the hotel). Hotel was nice, modern and had quite a good relaxed atmosphere. Best thing was the staff they were super helpful and friendly and went above and beyond for us after we left the wedding fair.

Nice hotel. However, food at dinner was poor. Breakfast was fine, though. The corporate booking system needs to be improved as we had to wait almost an hour before they released keys.

Room was quiet small but was very clean and perfect for my business trip. Excellent staff, particularly the yound man on breakfast reception. The breakfast was a good standard, with plenty of choice. Parts of the hotel did look worn but it wasn't to the point that you questioned the cleanliness. I would definitely stay again.
