Story

Set over 2 levels and bathed in faded circus glamour we aim to excite and delight!

Our inspiration comes from one of the UK’s oldest circus schools which is based very close to us in Hoxton Square – National Centre For Circus Arts. This school has trained over 50,000 performers across the world since it opened in the arts of trapeze, tightrope walking, unicycle, rope, silks, globe walking, juggling and much more!

We hope to create a show of our own within Trapeze with our mixture of food, drink, music and entertainment and give people something interesting and unique to see and talk about in Shoreditch and in London.

Came here for a small event upstairs. Very small space and hot. Very expensive for just two drinks and a small bar upstairs that don't offer cocktails so had to go downstairs. Cleaners in the toilets asking for tips. Not a place I would go to again.
What an amazing place! The food was fantastic, the music was amazing and the atmosphere was so good! Probably one of the best brunches I’ve ever been to! Would highly recommend the 90’s and 00’s brunch! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were great!
Was not what I expected based on the website pictures but maybe Sunday is just pretty quiet. The dance floor was rather boring and the DJ seemed annoyed at our suggestions which btw got everyone hyped for even though he welcomed our suggestions. The rating would be lower if it wasn’t for the bartender didn’t get his name but shoutout to him he was great. Other than that do not recommend, there are better options …
Was a very energetic Bar, the staff were so friendly and even allowed us to take control of the Dj Decks. Bartender ensured we had a good round of delicious drinks and shots. Was a very friendly and fun environment. Will be visiting again soon.Service: 5/5
Went for old skool bingo starred at 18.00. Cocktail menu stated Happy hour till 19:00. 2 4 1 prices Barman confirmed it. But when we went to get 2 cocktails at 6.30.. I checked the price and he was charging me and it was full price. I asked why and he said the manager has just came out and stated as it is an "event". its not happy hour. Nothing on our ticket states this.. and what had changed from when we 1st arrived. Luckily I checked what I was being charged as would of been none the wiser. Changed rules half way through happy hour. I complained and manager honoured my 2 4 1 cocktails.. Probably rely on people not looking at what they are paying.. as they went to charge my friend for larger basket of chicken.. when she only ordered small one. But I won the bingo and has a good night after that.
Celebrated my 30th birthday here recently. Nadia has been fantastic in coordinating the planning and make sure all the details were just perfect. On site we were hosted by Rochelle who took great care of us and made it a memorable experience, attentive caring and always ready to help. Everyone loved her and had such a good time. We will definitely be back!
We went to the City Comedy Club in the basement before attending the Saturday Spectacular in the Trapeze Bar, for our daughters 18th with her bestie. Brilliant atmosphere and a fantastic show, you won't get in other bars. The Ring Master was full of life and had a great presence and voice. The acrobatic and fire performance was good too. The staff were attentive and made the effort to work out your occasion and made you feel special. A Brilliant experience she'll never forget.
We celebrated my sisters hen party here for a bottomless brunch. I have been to many bottomless brunches and this by far was the best. They supplied all the drinks and we were never without a glass of Prosecco. The performers also took a few of the brides downstairs to learn a dance which was then performed infront of everyone which was a brilliant touch. Couldn’t thank you all enough
Attended with a group for an event. The staff were great, even from before we attended. They were fantastic with my phone calls to organise, thank you. Drinks were good too, and the food looked good even though I didn't have any myself. The venue was in good condition which makes a difference. Somehow I think I maybe returning...... Thank you and great job to all the staff at Trapeze, you helped us all have an enjoyable event. Until next time
Great club and great music! Pure hip hop downstairs and my go to place in Shoreditch. I recently booked a table for the euros football games, and Nadia who works there was fantastic and a great help! She needs a promotion!
