Lovely setting with a good vibe but not sure if I am coming back for food. Went there for our company's Christmas lunch, so pre set menu. Not really my kind of food choices but the food was also pretty average! Sorry but the steak was sooo chewy, the sprouts - maybe not, odd option on the cod and the pate was a real let down. I did, though, like the roast turkey & the mash. Those were delicious. And, appreciated the gluten free toast. Also, the service was flawless. Jake & his colleague looked after us brilliantly.
I came for the steak and it was just fine, I expected a bit more. Some parts had some nerves and some parts were very tasty and tender. That’s why I have some mixed feelings about the quality of the meat. Apart from that, I tried the cheeseburger, which was quite good, and a delicious Bloody Mary. The staff was wonderful: friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the place is very cool. From my point of view it is a bit dark, so we sat down in a sort of indoor terrace, which was very bright. Overall, cool experience!
Delicious brunch and lunch options. The staff were very attentive. Had a lovely afternoon. Thank you!Food: 5/5
Came here for Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back and with the family.Food: 5/5
The atmosphere was ok, the music a bit too loud. We ordered Caesar salads with chicken. The taste was good in itself, but otherwise they were overpriced for the quality. My own salad had a grated bone and one crouton. The waiters were friendly.
A grill restaurant with a beautiful darker ambience. For people of a more advanced age, this could lead to problems reading the menu, but I personally like it a lot! The food selection is clear and very good. I had the "Flat Iron Steak", which was really excellently prepared. The side dish is French fries. One star off for the 45 minute wait until we were allowed to pay after dining. I went to the staff twice to ask for it. In the end, I went to the front counter and insisted. A bit of a shame, as I had the feeling that they wanted to keep the guests in the restaurant, as otherwise it would have been empty. Nevertheless, I will gladly come again and enjoy the culinary delights. Vegetarian options: The menu offers various vegetarian and vegan dishes. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the ground floor of the Hoxton Hotel and is completely barrier-free. There are also accessible toilets.
II have been to this place many times, but this evening the security man did not let my friend back in because according to him she was not ok without any reason as she still had her things inside such as backpacks, jackets, phone and other things. all this for nothing. for no reason. she paid to be here and they kicked her out. unjustifiable. absolutely speechless
Popped in for lunch today with friends. First impression was amazing such lovely tasteful decor then good service then the best Cobb salad ever it was full of flavour and it was massive great value thank you guys. From worcester
Had an unexpected meal after drinks as couldn't be bothered to go anywhere else, flat iron steak wasn't bad at all but the waitress was a misery bless her. The dj played a really nice set. Spicy margaritas were very, very good.Food: 3/5
Ambiance: I have had several after works at Hoxton and I really like the ambiance. It's usually crowded but today it was almost empty. Service: It was a quick lunch, but i really think they missed big time today. We had four different people coming by and ask us different things, which made it unclear who was our main waiter. And strangely enough it took a long time before we was able to order our food. The food: I had the vegan burger which was ok, nothing special about it, maybe a little too much "fatty". The star in the show was the fries, they were really amazing.
