A nice place to visit even just for coffee. It's been a while since I ate here but I believe the food is still good. Staff very friendly. It's also easy & handy place to get to on the 702, just off the city bypass..

Great outdoor seating weather permitting. Otherwise fine pub. Good food a bit higher standard than your average pub food.

We had been there for something to eat after a funeral. Sandwiches were lovely and so where the warm sausages rolls. Staff were friendly and respectful they made sure you had enough tea, coffee or orange juice. Will be back to have a meal at another time.

Excellent value for money, good sized portions, really good food and wonderful atmosphere (two open coal fires). We ate in one of the conservatories and it was really nice. I'd soon be a regular if I lived closer, it's just that kind of place; everyone needs a safe place like The Steading in their life!

Service was great we where a group of 8 and everyone got their meals at the same time and very promptly. Menu looked amazing so was very excited to visit. Starters where great but a little small for the price paid imo. Main course was Steak Pie for me, was particularly excited about this as the place is a little rustic so thought I'd get a proper steak pie. However when it game it was just a stew with puff pastry popped on top. Pastry was crispy or anything. Meat was a little bit of a let down as well. Great portion size however and good selection of veg.
